Romulan recruitment?

I noticed there is not a Romulan recruitment forum, will that be up soon?

Further more,

Any Romulan Fleets recruiting? I would like to join a group before going live. I am interested in a Roleplaying Fleet that is following the story (not pretending they are the old Empire or something).

Can't really post anything about my toon since the expansion is not live, but I am a vet player if that means anything lol.

    I would certainly be interested in looking for a Romulan Fleet as well prior to launch day. to hit the ground running so to speak.

    Considering that it will take 5 live Romulan bodies to start a Romulan Fleet, it seems a bit premature to talk about joining one...

    You'd be better off checking the existing Fleet organizations, and see which ones are planning for a Romulan (as well as Klingon) off shoot...

    Omega Primary Fleets will be making a Romulan Fleet and we will have captains from both of our 500 MEGA fleets.
    Im sure we will have room for anyone who wants to join in on our success.

    i think a lot of flleets will make a side fleet in romulan faction

    Not sure why fleets atm are making divisions in the rom side and having them set names for them as you havent secured the name yet in game... going to have to move pretty quickly to get that name because someone else just might want it :)

    I'm inadvertently part of one. Had no idea when I got invited into it on the latest fed Alt I'm trying to get to VA.

    Still I think these forums need a Romulan Shipyard and Romulan Gameplay subforum as well.

    We are a Romulan fleet with a T3 SB and upgrading to T1 Embassy. We do not have a large roster to boast about, but to us that doesn't matter. We are about building a community of like-minded players, we are not into "collecting" members just so we can brag about how many people we have.

    We are not RP centric, but we have no aversions to RPing if people desire it. I acutally love a good RP. We run weekly fleet events, and generally just have a good time chatting and running missions. We have a 0 drama policy; you won't find any drama/politics in our fleet, we're just here to have fun.

    We are not an extremely hardcore fleet, most of ours are casual, but my husband does like the ocassional PvP match and he is big on min/maxing. We are a helpful, laid back bunch of folks that just want to have a good time, and playing our favorite race will no doubt maximize the fun factor.

    We have people from the US, UK, and Australia, so there will generally always be someone around. Send me an in-game mail if you have any questions. @Ael

    Seems unlikely - since Romulans, Romulan Fleets and Romulan Fleet Holdings can't exist until 5/21.

    Then allow me to rephrase: We are a fleet of Romulan fans. No one has a true Romulan fleet yet, but there are 4 (that I know of) that have FED/KDF side bases and have been here for a while. We are primarily FED side at the moment since that is all we can be. But we will be making a green side fleet on May 21st.

    Might it not be more prudent to halt all operations in your current projects, and convert that DIL to zen (to reconvert back to DIL on the Romulan side in May) and stockpile other items you can, and get all that set up for the Romulan Starbase you'll have to start on in May?

    There has always been a Romulan fleet as far as that goes, there has never been a faction in the actual game for obviouse reasons until now.

    For once I have to agree with Snoggy as this is a very wise decision if you're going to actually shift your fleet from Blue to Green. :)

    We are Romulans, and until may we will have to make do with Federation and Klingons toons But our heart and minds are romulan, and I am overjoyed to finally be free, to finally play as romulan, I have waited years for this moment.
    Had to make do with other factions and play them as romulan and this has included our fleet as well

    I think it's probably true of all the romulan themed fleets out there that they should perhaps put the Fed side on the back burner (not the pyro's flamethrower) however if you do that the current fleet grinds to a halt and people leave.

    I have talked to @ael and she's very nice and friendly, I would definitly be up for joining her fleet green side.
    It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.

    Actually, although current base operations won't be halting anytime soon, preparations have already begun for the new faction :)

    You're welcome to join the current Imperial Romulan Strike Force and know that we will continue to expand in all 3 factions :)

    Better to find one now, and start collecting anything you might need then try and find one in the mess that will be happening when it goes live.
