I won't go green. I am a true warrior. I love my battlecruiser, my BoP, my blood wine, my targ and my orion TRIBBLE..
My sword of kahless was purified by the blood of federation. Now it is time when my sword will taste the green goo of Romulan blood.

lol :D This thread will be worth gold for me! Or gold-pressed latinum.

I wellcome the Romulans in front of my disruptors!
I'll be also sticking to the red side. I do love my Bortasqu' battlecruiser too much. My B'rel trollship makes me laugh every time I take it out for a spin. :P And don't get me started about those Orions....hehe ;)

I always wanted to PvP against Romulan players in their warbirds and it's seems I got my wish. It seems Sela will be their leader - all the more reasons to make their life even more miserable! :P

I will remain Klingon Side, I welcome the fools who push for Romulan side right off the bat, it's going to have a LOT of bugs, as usual on first launch.

Overall, though, I am going to love fighting the Romulans in my Negh'Var, I am quite curious as to what kind of ships they will have, though.

I am also wondering, that if all Klingon, Fed, and Romulans now start out at level 1, does that mean they fully revamped the Klingon Empire in starting ships (at Lieutenant Level) up to Lieutenant Commander, and if so, does that mean they revamped the storyline for the KDF?

It seems I may have substantial amount of "back missions" to play with my already now level 47 character, I hope it involves a lot of Romulan and Federation blood. Especially with these new Tholian STFs we will have.

Add a tutorial mission. Move down the first set of KDF missions. Share one set of Romulan missions. Done.

I'd be willing to bet that's how it will go.

I myself am not really interested in a 3rd faction because they've always refused to risk $ investing development into the KDF.

When the Romulans come God in all His Might will love the KDF even more, because of the seer amount of souls we will be sending His way. We are going to bless the Greens with ungodly amount of disruptor and torpedo damage until they realize the ONLY way is the Klingon way. Long Live The KDF. Long Live Blood Wine. Long Live Orion Slave Girls.
Klingons fight honorably and DIE honorably. Thank you Cryptic for giving us more to shoot at.

    The Klingons killed their gods.

At any rate, I might poke at the new content, even park an Alt over there, but even if I wasn't running Operations for Bloodbath I would not leave redside for green.

It will be glorious. We will leave the shattered hulks of Romulan warbirds in our wake, and we will bathe our betleHs in Romulan blood! Much honor and glory will be had, as we finally get to smite the Romulan petaQ'pu in ways the canon Klingons never got to chance to!

I see glorious battle and songs of victory to sing. I will keep my Klingon that is for sure. There is no reason to retire him yet. He still has plenty of action to see and do. I will see the new missions/story lines. With my Kumarag, Negh'Var, and Breen ship. I have a lot of battle to see and win. Hope to have a Jem Dreadnaught in the future as well. And that too will add to my destruction path of battle.

However, I do plan on creating a Romulan to check out and play as well. But it won't be the one to replace my KDF. Mainly when I decide to do something different.

I shall always remain a Federation Officer. The savage ways of the Klingon Empire is no match for the numerous species that make up the Federation. The Empire's only hope and salvation are the mystical developer gods of the Cryptic galaxy.

I deleted my characters and left the game in no small part because the KDF had 15+ levels ripped away from it. Now that KDF can start at level 1, I'm finally giving serious consideration to re-joining the fight.

...that don't mean I'll quit my b****in', though...

Umadbro? You *WANTED* 15 levels of meaningless, irrelevant bilge? A true Klingon warrior does not need an extended 49 level tutorial!

All I'm looking forward to is blowing Feds up who switched to the Romulans, and in PVP, making them realize that cloaks weren't an "I Win" button after all. Especially Battle Cloak users

LOL Yeah its funny how they keep close eye on forums to troll any advancement we request but say we are so OP then they go play romulan and say we want a Klingon cloak because theres is better LOL :P

Unfortunately there is no known cure for the common cold or stupid yet :P

Yeah, maybe that'll hammer it into their skulls that the BoP sacrifices quite a bit for what's ultimately a minor advantage in tactical flexibility. The only BoP that competitively fills the tactical role nowadays is the Fleet BoPs. The Hegh'ta can still deliver a nice kick when built right, but its limited by its inability to dogfight with Federation escorts. The B'rel is more suited for submarine warfare with torpedoes, mines, and sci skills.

Dude, it's an MMO. It's all meaningless, irrelevant bilge.

Regardless, the removal (not just neglect, but outright removal) of those 15 levels is what finally convinced me that Cryptic had absolutely no interest in actually developing the KDF. There were other factors in my decision (the "re-leveling of the Klingon experience," the DOff system, the skill revamp, the cloak bug, etc.), but that was too blatant a middle-finger specifically in the face of KDF fans for me to just shrug off.

I respect those who stuck around in spite of it all, but I decided to vote with my feet. Now that Cryptic is giving the first hint of changing their tune, so am I.

    Problem wid dat?

    I paraphrase Tecumseh,

Live your life in Service to the Empire, by the teachings of Kahless in that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Love your live of service, perfect your life in Kahless.
Seek to make your servie long in its purpose in the service of your Empire. Prepare a honorable death song for the day when you go over to the Black fleet.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all warriors of the Empire and never grovel to anyone.

When you arise in the morning give thanks to the teachings of Kahless and to your service for the food and for the the joy of living as a warrior in service. If you see no reason in giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.
Abuse no fellow warrior or servant to the Empire, for abuse turns the wise warriors to fools and robs the warrior of their honor.

When it comes your die to die, be not like those warriors whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when thier time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live thier lives over again.

Sing your death song and die like a Warrior of the Empire going to StoVoKor.
