The Romulan Player Faction

Okay so...I have been watching that countdown timer on the log in window and it has finally reached Zero, yet the Romulan Player Faction has not been released, YES I am aware that in the image it says May 2013, but why the heck was the countdown timer set to reach zero earlier today? How did the timer end up being so horribly off? Cause even though the month was wrong I still had hopes, so could someone please explain why the timer was wrong?

    The timer wasn't wrong. It counted down to what was revealed today. What was revealed today is being released in May.

    The timer wasn't wrong, you just didn't understand the point of it.

    The countdown was until the Announcement of the Romulan Faction, it was never for the release of it, which doesn't happen until May 21st. The whole point was to increase the amount of speculation and build some hype for the Legacy of Romulus expansion.

    The timer was not wrong, your perception of what was coming when the timer hit zero was.

    The majority of people knew that the faction would not hit now but did expect information at least and that is what we got, albeit, fuzzy not super detailed information which im certain will continue to trickle in now that the preverable cat is out of the bag so to speak.

    I also have a question about the new Romulan faction. Should I make my own thread or should I use one of the many, many, many others created today?

    I really do love the number of arrogant responses about what my perspective or thoughts on the count down timer were.

    Fact of the matter is I could easily tell WHAT the timer was for, it had to do with the Romulan Player Faction, yes I mistook it for the release of the faction, however i was also very aware that I could be wrong as what it ment. So yes my excitement was built up however the fact remains is that this was horribly miss leading, if all this was, was a means of telling you when information would be released then why do it? Building up so much hype just for information seems like a low blow, getting people super excited only to find out it was just information? So no, my perspective was never wrong for even I was questioning my own thoughts as I was never ACTUALLY sure of what the timer indicated, which is why I came here to ask about what it was all about. I did not come here to be told that I was in anyway wrong, I came here to find ANSWERS as to what the timer ment, but you people just had to go the extra mile to tell me I was wrong when you didnt need to nor was there any wrong on my end for you to point out.
