With 20 minutes left before the announcement, I thought I'd get the ball rolling on the inevitable DOOOOOOM thread.

So yeah, DOOM. The game is dying. DOOOM. This was STO's last chance! DOOOOOOM.

    I'm going to be excited for the Romulan faction, think they might finally be turning this game around, and then be horribly disappointed, I'm sure. So, DOOM in advance.

    The Klingon doom-sayers have started their own version of this thread filled with the usual doomsayer material and crocodile tears.

    This thread may end up neglected. I'm not entirely sure there is enough doom to go around.

    SWTOR put out a "State of the Game" message today to coincide with the Rom timer. DOOM!!! :)
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Wasn't even that. Was basically a rehash of the last 5 months, and the guy signed it with "see you on markeb!"

    What's wrong with DOOM? I even remember the cheats for it: "idkfad", and "iddqd" were especially useful.
    I'll sell you some weapons from New Romulus. Never fired, only dropped once.

    My favorite add on for DOOM was the 'Barney SFX pack" -- I got real satisfaction in blasting hordes of Demons that were singing: "I love you - you love me..." and then screaming in agony as they went down. :eek::D

    Sorry guys, this turning out to be something besides a STO-related conversation and a little bit spammy so I'm closing the thread.
