Questions about New Ship

I don't see a thread that this might go under so I made this one. My question is will there a any way that the Romulan War Bird be added as a playable ship like they did with the Jem'Hadar ships? Possible as a zen market ship like the Vista ship line. I would like to see that in near future. In my view it would be pretty cool flying around in one of those. Not sure who else would like see that. If anyone knows if that might happen just let me know. thank you and see you all in game.

    According to Cryptic, the Romulan Warbird will not be sold in a lock box. Not now, not ever.*

    *As long as Cryptic still plans to release a Romulan faction (vaporware ;)) and as long as they don't need a large quick cash infusion.
    Delta Rising is the best expansion ever and the players love it! No, seriously! ...Why are you laughing so hard? :(

    But you can expect that, when the RSE does release as a playable faction, it will have plenty of "Fleet Ship" options for us to spend 20 bucks on.

    K, just wanted to ask since I don't have much time to search all of forum to see if it was talked about before. I'm still new to STO and wasn't sure on it and hoped someone else did know the answer, so thank you all for responding to this. Sorry for beating a dead horse on this subject. :) Have fun and see you all in game.

    What makes you think the two are mutually exclusive? Zen-Store Romulan Faction is a distinct possibilty.

    I am a F2P player but I'd have no problem with a pay faction, at some point. Something to really throw the veterans a bone.

    Though I still expect that will eventually be the Borg, and that it will have some sort of unique play style for them. I think they are keeping Romulans and Dominion for everyone, then maybe Borg as something totally different, and pay exclusive.

    I don't think so. It would limit even more the number of people in this faction. Which would make c-store ship for this faction unlikely. They already loose money on some ships they released for the KDF and it's a free faction.

    They may add paying races however, maybe Hirogens or whatever. But the core faction ? It would be a stupid move.
