not sure why people are getting all rev'd up, it may only be 5 days away but we dont actually to tinker around with content till may so.. still abit of a wait. Not to mention what ever they show in the trailer if it be one, most likely will show alot of features and "goodies" that wont really make it into game.
I expect to see alot of "omg omg omg cant wait" then when it hits itll be "what the tarnashins that was in the video why wasnt it in game!! AHH ROAR" so on...

it is the first time cryptic has done this though.
Usually they just repeat over and over again how awesome the results of the month and months of work is and then they come out with whatever season Crossfire was.
So cryptic does seem quite giddy at what is coming

Come to think of it....I'm a little terrified....:D
Could be when they bring the build to tribble.
Or an announcement that within the next 30 days it will be on tribble.
Perhaps they will even give us a bit of actual information on whatever it is.
However I can gaurantee that there will be people who are disappointed in whatever transpires and will gripe that it was not worth the hype.
A long slow buildup like this on the internet is never really a good thing...

True ill give you that, this is the first time there really hyping something up in terms of "season" releases. But Im sitten this in the stands atm to see how it unfolds. I just remember the other little trailers theyve shown over the course of time. They show great and amayzing cool scenes but nothing that actually we get to do in game or experience.
Who knows this might be the best season release to date.. time will only tell.
When you come out and say it's going to be huge and way larger than any season you just putting pressure on yourself.
Best case scenario not everyone will disagree, either way you will have people saying it's just a few maps or w/e.
If you want to be know as a miracle worker you have to set the expectations low starting out.
Now it's to the point people are expecting a whole new faction lmao. Even if they get that they still going to complain because it was expected - no surprise there.
Instead they should have come out and said hell, we don't even know if we will be ready to release anything at all and then blow people out of the water with 4 new factions.
They got the whole thing turned on it's head. I guess they aiming for PR outside the game to attract attention and new players thinking the existing players are staying no matter what anyway.

Bolded and underlined for you
I see what you did there...Hehehe...
"Coffee: the finest organic suspension ever devised. It's got me through the worst of the last three years. I beat the Borg with it."

Whatever comes out is potentially nerfible anyway if enough peple complain.
In year 1 with Atari, there was like one PR disaster after another with burning forums every weekend.
With PWE, at least people get somewhat hyped up and look forward to the future again...
It remains to be seen if the PR Hype is justified.
On the plus side info on mays big/huge/massive/humongous/vast/enormous/gigantic/gargantuan :-) release is on its way.
So at least we will soon have lots to err! um! Discuss. lol.
