I have seen a very healthy pvp community go south over the pass year and it hurts me to see what i love to play most, falling apart. So, I decided to take matters in to my own hands.

I cancel it because 35% of pvper act more like spoil little princess . Dont believe me read the pvp forum. what happen to true pvper who knew how to enjoy the game. so i change the tournament cause i know the elite so call pvper will never do capture and hold cause it requires thinking. Let have fun that why we play this game.

The rules seem obtuse, but the amount of EC potentially up for grabs is tempting.

Banning P2W consoles is perfectly fine, but the limit of one ship of each type is misguided. The main reason to limit ships is accomplished in banning the consoles anyway. What remains is an annoyance, people having to get into similar but different ships just for one tournament, not to mention a giant headache if someone can't show at the last minute and a sub is needed who then needs to buy the right ship and spec into it.

Send me a in game email at duramaster.@lightspeeds title email pvp fleet name how many teams and the contact person i will keep in touch with. I will compile the fleet names and teams. Please let keep the bickering to a minimum. Lets do this for the love of pvp watching someone go boom!!

Idc for the p2w noob consoles id say ban all OP ones, but limiting ships is so 2012. Its a f2p game now, accept it. p2w ships allowed, cstore ships allowed, and having multiple copies of the same ship in a premade doesnt necessarily mean better.

IMO it shouldnt be, sure if someone doesnt bother with the reputation system, bad luck. Thats a disadvantage to you. But the Zero point console is really not that hard to obtain, its only Tier 2 i believe and with a few times of dailies and patrols u have it in no time. (or epoh tagging for the RP'ers)

Limit the stuff too much, and nobody will attend. Also, who's gonna check whether you got MK XII Borg gear or MK X? Or Tet glider stuff? its all reputation now, ppl that didnt have it will HAVE to put the repu all the way up to tier 4/5 for some decent gear anyway.

i would like to have the tournament march 30 and 31. but i need the teams to sign up! 8 teams Minimum . no buy in you have nothing to lose.

Considering that the PvP Bootcamp's finale is the weekend of the 30th, you might want to consider bumping back the date to April 6th and 7th.

Just food for thought.

Everyone who joins must set privacy to be allowed to let us check and during the match i will have 5 people checking using gateway

You could also limt the use of some stacking consoles for escorts like rcs or resistance by one max,

When looking at ship specs, look at the URL, delete your name@handle put in the person you want to see and press enter

Issue with using gateway is that it dosent always update. It still has the ship I used last month. So I wouldn't base that as your judgement

Also If I'm not private what's to stop the other team from looking up what I'm doing if it dose update

Next issue what about proxy uni consoles (I.e. vesta, oddy, temprial, and ando ships those arnt fully uni. Next is defient and gal x cloak. Only 2 ships can use it so is that uni or no.

Gotta go with Wolfpack on this one, there is no way for you to tell if someone swaps out to use banned consoles during the fight. Gateway generally only updates when you zone and not always then. It has kept me in the same ship/build for hours even though I have swapped several times. Additionally, even if it did update regularly, the other team can just look at what you're using and compensate for it.

I'd say remove the console rule and say no more than 2 of any captain class. so you would have more rounded teams of say 2 tacs, 2 science, 1 eng or whatever.

i am canceling the pvp tournament only 3 fleet sign up. i think Pvp community is to badly damage. we have players insulting players and fleets and this is hurting pvp. To many know it all in the game to bad they cant keep there mouth shut and enjoy the game. To many fleet want rules to catered to thier playing style this is not burger king have it your way. If your a true pvper you will adopted. now moving on to better thing.

Why dont we just all fly mirandas without any consoles doffs or abilities and just 3 S-Issue scalable beams.
