Finding the datapad. Anyone else find any datapads? All I could see was glowing consoles like Fleet Base but no glowing pads.

I have found the PADD no problem. However, the daily to scan radiation around New Romulus doesn't work.

I have done the PADD twice, they dont make it easy.

The scan around new Romulus, have had done it twice, but both times it does not work, even after scanning the areas around new Romulus.

I was in flying around the planet when I noticed 4 grey circles on my area map and when I flew to the circles I got credit for the radiation scan.

Same here. I?ve tried today to solve the officer-of-the-watch-mission (federation embassy at New Romulus) - where you have to find the PADD of the scientist... But the missing PADD is REALLY missing...

If you can't find the PADD anywhere in the lobby section, use the turbolift to go to OPs and the shuttlebay to look for it. It is around there somewhere, but it's random where it is located.

You'll need to look in every single room for a glowing object, every single corner and upstairs.

If you still can't find it you may need to go to the mirror universe to find it. ;)

It also helps to use your sensor scan (default 'v' key...) as that will point you in the direction on where the padd is for that level...

The scan around New Romulus *does* work HOWEVER there is a TRICK to it. I got the first three circles no problem. I went to the first one (done) second one (done) for the Third one I flew OVER the planet (north pole type "over) and hit the third circle by luck at the right altitude as I went"down/south" after passing over the pole, but without knowing it, went too low and flew around for many minutes going through the last circle to no effect until I noticed that my ship was "scraping along the bottom" of the zone. I flew back up to Equatorial height and got the last one with no difficulty. You MUST be even with the planetary equator to hit the circles. If you're too high or low you'll miss the rather small zone...
