Are Mirror Universe Advanced/Patrol Escorts better than the regular versions?

I've been looking at the stats on the wiki, and it looks like the only difference between the Mirror and regular versions of the Patrol and Advance escorts is their appearance, and a slightly higher inertia on the Mirror Advance than the regular Advance. Which means the Mirror Advance is slightly worse than the regular, and the Patrol isn't any different.

I just picked up one of each Mirror escort from the exchange, cheap. I don't have a ton of dil/zen to buy more ship slots, and I only have one free slot at the moment, so I don't want to unbox a ship unless it will be worth it. I already have the regular Advanced Escort, and I don't care about the Mirror Universe skins or costumes. Should I sell them, or are either actually worth using?

    All of the mirror ships are just the regular version with the other hull, so generally not an improvement (although Mirror Star Cruiser and Mirror Deep Space Science Vessel are nice for the extra agility, and Mirror Patrol Escort can be used with the MVAM if you have that). The main reason to get them is because they're the cheapest ship you can possibly buy when you get them on the Exchange.

    Mirror Advanced Escort is a Patrol Escort with the Advanced skin. Vice-versa with the Mirror Patrol Escort.

    It's nice if you like the look of one but prefer the layout of the other but that's all. There's a reason they are cheap. :D

    The advantages are that they are very cheap, have a cool skin and a unique name prefix.

    There is one odd perk as well, you can use the MVAM console on the Mirror Patrol Escort. Strangely, you cannot use the Metreon Console on the Mirror Star Cruiser though.

    I got the Mirror Patrol Escort because of the huge advantage over the standard one. It looks like the awesome Prometheus Class rather than the ugly Hermes Class.

    It does.

    Also, Metereon Gas Cannisters can be equipped to the Mirror Assault Cruiser. I know, kinda weird, but that's how it is.

    The mirror patrol cruiser looks like the prime universes advanced cruiser ship. The prime universes version includes:
    Tact. Slots. 4
    Eng. Slots. 2
    Sci. Slots 3
    1x Lt. Com. Each sci, eng, tact.
    1x Com. Tact.
    1x Ensign Tact.

    Contrasted with the mirror universe version of the Prometheus Class

    Tact. Slots. 4
    Eng. slots. 3
    Sci. Slots. 2

    1x Lt. Com. Each sci, eng, tact
    1x Com Tact
    1x Ensign eng

    And I have to say that extra engineer is far more practice then an additional Ensign Tact slot

    I love my mirror patrol escort(advanced escort) they have one more console and i think an upgrade in a bridge officer but i've never been happier with a ship, next to the dreadnaught, andorian kumari class.

    I like the Mirror Patrol Escort for the extra Engineering BOFF slot.
