**BEGIN TRANSMISSION**
This is a general request to the open fleets of the Federation.
My name is Vice Admiral Rainyn Krix. Until recently, my ship - the USS Xandria - and her crew have been assigned largely to scientific missions in deep space on behalf of Star Fleet. As such, we were able to accomplish the majority of our orders either alone or with the help of a small task force. While the Xandria is still primarily an exploration vessel focused on scientific research, we have received new orders from Star Fleet requesting our assistance in other capacities.
These new orders will require the help of larger fleets with greater operational capacities who might have room for an additional cruiser in their fleet roster. My crew is capable and ready to serve, although we lack the experience of operating within a large task force. I'm looking for other like-minded captains who can help train me and my crew, and help us embark on some of the more difficult and critical missions for the Federation.
If you have room for one ship (and possibly up to two others), please send me a message here, or directly to the bridge of the Xandria. We look forward to hearing from you.

So, I'm a fairly new player. I started in January, got hooked, and have been enjoying the game ever since. I'm hoping to find a casual, RP-friendly fleet out there who might be willing to take on a couple of exta captains - me, my girlfriend, and maybe one other friend of mine who plays occasionally.
A little bit about me and my playstyle. I've got a pretty demanding job and busy home life, and my schedule can sometimes be erratic. Often when I get home, I'm pretty tired and I just want to zone out and blow up bad guys and collect dilithium, so I do a fair amount of soloing or duoing. right now I'm in a small fleet started by a friend of mine, but it's very inactive and generally I'm the only one on.
I'm a casual player. I want to become a better captain and learn more about how to play more effectively, but I'm not looking to be a hardcore ultra-raider... I don't care about inching out that .0025% more damage or playing the single best ship in my class. I just want some fun RP, do some group content, make some friends, and help out where I can.

After looking over your post, I think Task Force Argo might just be a decent fit for you! We're a casual but immersive RP fleet on Fedside with the mantra that RL > The Game and that the game is meant to be fun, not a frustrating grindfest! Most of our members have busy real lives and family to tend to, and so TFA is very casual-play friendly.
We aim to host at least one RP or PvE event a week, but with member-run foundry plots and random calls for STFs/PvE, it adds up to more than that!
The only point of concern would be that all our IC characters are all ranked Captain or below (our fleet leader is only a commodore!) to fit in with our style of RP.

Alternatively, I'd recommend the 26th, a fellow RP fleet that we intermingle with!
I want to admit that I really enjoyed your RP-style write-up. It definitely made me really interested. I am here of course to invite you to consider the 5th Special Operations Division. We are firstly an RP fleet, however not hardcore, but more casual in nature. We do organize some events, and encourage general RP in-game. We are also consisting of mature members that understand that RL always comes first, and therefore do not have regular log-in requirements. We do also talk to each other OOC in a social atmosphere, and are really friendly.
