NX Class question

Hi everyone, I am thinking of spending my hard earned Zen on an NX class ship, however, I will only part with my money if it comes with the NX bridge. Has anyone got an NX class and does it come with the bridge?

Many thanx :)

You'll likely end up outgrowing it in 1-2 weeks anyway, depending on how fast you level - or possibly 1-2 DAYS, there are a lot of power levelers on this forum.

The grappling hook console is pretty meh as well - basically it's a poor man's tractor beam with a long cooldown and not much else going for it.

I would suggest that if you want a T1 ship you either:

    a) Consider the Steam starter package, which gives you the Steamrunner, the best T1 ship, for all toons, the Steamrunner retrofit, a T5 ship that's almost a fleet ship, for all toons, and a few other all-toons goodies that will get your character off to a good start,

    OR

    b) Pick up the T1 TOS Constitution cruiser. While I am not much of a TOS fan, you can strip the auto-leveling blue phasers from the Connie and reclaim it as much as you like. The phasers will become obsolete after level 45 or so, but they will remain serviceable throughout leveling, and even at level 50 they will remain useful until you can afford a better set of weapons.

Note the Steam starter package is not purchased with Zen, and is $25, but IMO it's one of the best deals in the game at the moment. Truth be told, the Steamrunner retrofit alone is worth it, as it's a high-quality ship that's claimable on all toons and is roughly a fleet ship, which normally has to be bought on a per-toon basis.

As per the Connie, the ship ITSELF will also end up in the scrapheap, but you can't disagree with free phaser arrays if you're going to be using cruisers (and maybe science ships) IMO, and even if not it'll probably be decent enough for a bit longer until you can properly outfit an escort with DHC's and the like.

The TOS pack itself isn't a bad idea either, as you can also claim the phaser pistols for all your officers, and they will also level up with your crew.
