jem'hadar upgraded firing mechanism?

hey guys, so i scammed myself by buying $20 worth of keys, hoping to get a ship, which i didn't of course, but i got a bunch of lobi crystals and just wondering what the jem'hadar upgraded firing mechanism actually, like how does it upgrade the pistol?

    IIRC the Jem'Hadar upgrade does NOT upgrade the pistol. It only upgrades the Jem'Hadar ground set, which is the Jem'Hadar Full Auto rifle, the Armor, and the shield. AND it only works if you already own the FULL MK XI set, which is easily obtainable by playing the "2800" Feature Episode missions.

    The upgrade is basically nothing more than a boost to the items from MK XI to MK XII. Boosting the set to MK XII in the Jammie case also unlocks a costume, but it's not as nice as the STF sets.

    If I were you i'd burn those 200 lobi on the Tachyokinetic Converter from the Temporal Warfare Space Set. It's one of the most useful universal consoles in the game next to the Assimilated Borg Console.

    You can upgrade the pistol as a standalone item for I think 50 lobi. I'd assume it increases the damage and it MIGHT add another mod to the weapon since in addition to the increased mk level it's going from a rare item to a very rare item..

    50 Lobi, though? To upgrade a single ground weapon. REALLY not worth it. If one would insist on buying a ground weapon from the Lobi store, the Temporal Rifle is probably the one to use.

    I've also heard some good things about the Mk XII upgrade for the Tholian set, the one with a shield, EV suit and the Cryo Pulsewave. The Cryo Pulsewave is a killer weapon against Borg, and is great for knocking drones on their TRIBBLE or off ledges in IGE.

    The upgraded tholian set is awesome, the suite is ofc an ev suit but the shield and gun are great, the shield is a few points off from being as good as an elite fleet shield and the gun is beastly it has a chance to freeze enemy's and the 2 piece set bones gives a stacking energy damage bones up to I beleave 10%
