No tholian advanced fighters...

Atrox- purple fighters
Jem carriers- purple fighters AND purple bug
recluse.... nope stuck with the blue fighters... why?

    The simple answer is that we don't have 3 tiers of Tholian fighters because they weren't originally put in the game when the Tholian Lockbox was released, and now that the Tholian lockbox is done with, they won't bother with updating/adding to it when there are new lockboxes to spend time working on.

    That said, as an owner of a Recluse, I certainly think we should have parity with the Jem'Hadar carrier and have some Tholian 2nd tier fighters in the D-Store and 3rd tier fighters available at a T5 science starbase.

    It's possible, although it would go against their previous 'special fighters for special carriers' track record. Everyone can get reputation system Scorpion Fighters, but only people with a Kar'Fi can get their Frigates, only Recluse owners can get Tholian Fighters, only Jem'Hadar carrier/HEC owners can get Jem'hadar fighters, etc.,

    If everyone can get Tholian fighters from a Tholian rep system, it would just further take away from the Recluse as a special lobi/lockbox ship rather than bringing it up to parity with the other 'special' carriers.

    most likely it is because, the recluse has a useful console which buffs the fighters, the fighters spam tetryon beams and they have quantum torpedoes so they are pretty much on the level with a splice between a peregrine and a type 10 shuttle. they are purple quality in blue form.

    Back when the Recluse was first coming out, people compared the Tholian fighters vs others with combat parsers and found that they did less damage than 1st tier Peregrines and that the 2 minute console added negligable damage.

    It would certainly be nice to have higher tier Tholian fighters available, but as it stands now, the only reason to use them is for the look. Most people that care about damage will have abanded them in favor of Elite Scorpions.

    I have a recluse, the other special carriers have purple fighters. I have all but the heavy escort jemmy carrier. I'd just like to compete with my recluse. And console sucks.

    Would definitely be nice of Cryptic if they did make upgraded Widows, maybe a boost to the TTG console as well.

    I'd hardly call that console useful.

    I own the Reclsue and the Carrier itself is the Sickness but its fighters were Jank (not Jem Fighter Jank but jank none the less) and the console does not do much for them at all.

    I banked the Widow Fighters and the Console after my 3rd STF run with the Reclsue and never looked back.

    This probably. Unfortunately if they still use beams instead of cannons without interesting beam abilities (let's say target weapons/engines subsystems and beam overload), the elite version will be as awful as the recluse one.

    just a note, stalkers only come in green and blue.

    Replace the Quantum with Thermionic torps...they wouldn't be great for damage but would be awesome to use as debuffers.

    If they would also get HY they would be the most OP fighters in the game. Any target would just be permanently dead in the water.

    I'd be happy with a beam overload...I know it wouldn't do much damage...or maybe beam target shields.

    Ok, they may have changed the color, but my blue ones are the same as the purple ones.

    they updated for me, it was one of the things that surprised me.

    pretty sure a T5 sci in fleet gives "ultra purple" (old purple) pets, just gotta wait for a fleet to get to t5science

    Recluse: Unique pets yes, upgraded version no


    It needs them. It should have them. And look on the bright side! The Recluse doesn't come out of a lockbox, which means it's still available for sale, which means your chances of getting upgraded pets are "nearly zero" instead of "zero".

    Darn, I was really hoping a Dev would pop in here to tell us that the Recluse would be like every other carrier in the game and have its fighters available in 3 different grades in time for T5 Starbase Sciences starting to finish.
