*Energy Phase device - Device Slot Only - allows the user of the ship to pick the energy type of the Spinal Lance, Spinal Burst Overload and Halo Beam array. Once used the Device has a 15Min Cooldown until the next energy type can be chosen.
It comes with each of the Dreadnought Retrofits.
Can also be equipped to the: Dreadnought Cruiser, Fleet Dreadnought Cruiser, Chimera Heavy Destroyer, Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer, Multi-Mission Strategic Explorer, Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer, Andorian Kumari Escort, Andorian Charal Escort and the Andorian Khyzon Escort.
but when the device is used on all other ships it boosts wpn power by +15% for 10secs and all beam abilities have slight damage output increase!

**Apollo Saucer Drive - Universal - this Console Comes with the Tirpitz Class and gives the user the choice of Piloting the Saucer (Ancile) Section or Hull (Priwen) Section.
It can be equipped on any of the Dreadnought Retrofits.
It has a 3Min Cooldown once used.
When equipped it gives a +5% boost to Shield Power. Gives a Dark Hull Colouring.

***Spinal Burst Overload Console - Universal - this Console comes with the Shinto Class and gives the ship the ability to draw powers from: AUX. and Wpn. Power and then fire a 45' Arc of Warp Drive Radiation followed by and intense 45' Arc Spinal Scatter Volley (intense version of CSV).
Can be Equipped on each of the Dreadnought Retrofits.
Has a 3Min Cooldown.
The Warp Drive Radiation Cripples the En ship shields by % (depending on Boffs/Doffs/ and Player Captain Powers).
When Piloting the Hull Section, the SBOC becomes a constant weapon with a significant damage reduction but a boost to the WDR (which now cripples the entire En. Ship) with a 10sec Cooldown.

****Halo Beam Relay - Universal - This Console comes with the Talon Class and gives the Saucer a Beam Relay with a 360' Arc, when used it fires an array of Beams (like an OP Version of FaW) at surrounding Targets has a % of passing through shields (depending on Boffs/Doffs/ and Player Captain Powers).
Has 3Min Cooldown when in full ship Mode. When flying the Saucer Section the HBR becomes a constant weapon with a 10sec Cooldown and a slightly reduced damage output.
can be equipped on each of the Dreadnought Retrofits.
Gives the ring in the centre of the saucer a glowing effect. The beams fire from this ring.

Set Powers: Set 3 - When the latter 3 are equipped, all Battery Devices Equipped to the ship are increased by 15% output and the Darkened (Black) Hull Plates are accentuated by a white glow from all of the seams inbetween the plates and panels (all visuals can be disabled).

plus Device: also with all 3 plus the Device equipped the ships saucer hunkers down into a tactically ready state, armour slides over the warp nacelles (again all visuals can be disabled).

I hope you like this, please give feed back and any help or changes. I tried not to make it OP that is why the Set Powers are mostly Visuals for the ship, Ive tried not to make it a pay to win either....I hope lol
thanks for any praise or critisism :)

*Energy Phase device will be released in the Lobi Store for 200 Lobi (also available for KDF for the: Guramba Seige Destroyer, Bortasqu' Command Cruiser, Bortasqu' Tactical Cruiser, Bortasqu' War Cruiser,Peghqu' Heavy Destroyer and the Car'acal Warmonger Vessel).
but when the device is used on all other ships it boosts wpn power by +15% for 10secs and all beam abilities have slight damage output increase!

Fleet Version will have higher Hull, Inertia, Impulse and power stats

I will be making a layout for new Fed Sci and Eng ships. Aswell as Son'a and Xindi ships at some point

I love these ideas. Further, i Love the Talon and Shinto names. Now so sure about the other one, maybe Yamato Class or Musashi Class, or Shinano Class. I fully agree that the Gal-X needs a refit. If you are going to make this ship move like it has an elephant on its back, at least give it some frakkin' firepower. The Gal-X is a cruiser/escort...they need to make it that.

I don't like pay to win games, but at the same time, If i pay 25 dollars for a ship, i want it to actually be an option to use. Right now it is so worthless I haven't played with it regularly in over a year. It is so outclassed it is a waste.

Thats the problem with all these ships you buy...its like Android (and before android owners rip me a new one, I'm an android guy),you buy this expensive, shiny new toy only to find out that two months later its nothing more than a paperweight.

You are right pay to win does ruin games, and yes i love my dread as much as most ppl but its lacking atm and needs a bit of spice added, that is why i came up with this, not that it'll change..
In reply to your last bit yh alot of them do become paperweights, but alot of people still just like to collect and use them even if they are outdated or under-powered.

That said i agree with everything you said!

You might as well quit while you're ahead and stop asking for reworks of the Galaxy ships. It obviously won't happen, except in the most dire of circumstances (ie a few weeks/months before the game servers are shut down).

After one year I'm still very satisfied with my Galaxy Note. Samsung just released the Android 4.1.2 update, even though the Note 3 will likely be announced soon. As for STO ships, there's been a lot of power creep going on lately, and who knows what Not Season 8 will bring in May. The devs keep talking about raising the level cap. That said, I would probably support pretty much any suggestion that would buff the Galaxy class ships. The Galaxy has always been one of my favorites, but I don't own any of the C-store versions because they are terrible.

So what do you think of this, would it ruin or improve the Game, maybe it would change things up a little and introduce new play styles, what are your takes on it?

Turn rate should stay 6 on this ship. 7.5? That's insane.

Also, I'm not a fan of having the All Good Things Galaxy X Dreadnought monstrosity named after one of the cooler regular Galaxy class ships to ever appear in an episode of TNG.

I really like the look of these. Would love to seem them in the game. One question though. Why can't I use the Energy Phase Device on my Ambassador Class? :(

its main use is to change the energy type of ships with special beam or cannon attacks/abilities

but it could be changed so that when the device is used on all other ships it boosts wpn power by +15% for 10secs and all beam abilities have slight damage output increase!

Well the Yamato isn't directly a reference to the Galaxy Class, it was to the Japanese World War II battleship. Still, the Musashi and Shinano were the Yamato's sister ships so call it the Musashi Class

    Here are some alternative names:

    Ise Class
    Hyuga Class
    Yamashiro Class
    Kirishima Class
    Hiei Class
    Kongo Class
    Nagato Class
    Scharnhorst Class
    Tirpitz Class
    Gneisenau Class
    Bismarck Class
    Warspite Class
