just wondering if this was possible on a jem'hadar dreadnought.
as it's been claimed and shown in screenshots to me, but when asked how all i get is bs answers like 'trade secrets' which of course makes me think 'exploit'
anyone know how that would be possible on any ship, let alone a jem dread?
I'm a tac officer and my Dread sits at 60k hull normally with 13k facing shields.
that's still a far cry from 96k. my jem dread is also at 60k hull that's normal just from skills. but to have that high on a ship with only a 1.15 shield mod
If you use prototype jevonite hardpoints, those can boost your SIF by 100 skill points, which can mean around 25k hull on most cruisers, so I would imagine that using those in conjunction with a deflector that also boosts these points such as the MACO deflector could do it, though I've not tested it.
The adapted MACO shield has some of the highest in the game, combined with Mk12 VR Field Generators could boost your shield HP by a lot as well assuming that you had maximum points in shield systems, the additional gain from the romulan passives and or a deflector that boosted it.
Again I have no evidence to prove this would work, but at least on paper it sounds possible.
Actually I've (barely) survived a hit by a borg supertorp before. neutronium, monotanium, BFI, polarize, and aux2SIF lets you ignore over 60% of the damage. Then subtract more for shield hardness.

I have survived them before this way too. I had about 2% health afterward, but it's doable.

All I'm saying is that if a Tactical officer can get it to 60k then a survivability minded Eng could likely coax a lot more out of it.
I run 59.3k hull and 19.2k shield facing. With Jevonite, hull goes upto 72.2k.
Though, I am only running two Mk 11 blue field gens, so I'm fairly certain that if I ran two more, or an array of purple 12's I could easily sit on 23.3k-25k shield.

FACR here, can get my hull up to 58.85k with 10k per shield facing, no field gens. With field gens and the Adapted MACO shield, I could probably hit 14-17k shields per facing easily. I think your best bet though would be with either the recluse or the Sci Oddy. I know I can get my Tac Oddy hull up to 56k with ease, and with just one field gen has 12k per facing (mk XI blue). It already has a shield rating of 1.15, add in the .88 from four mk XII purple field gens and the additional .33 from your skills, and you can easily get your shields up to MASSIVE amounts per facing. Probably close to 26k.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once.
