Mirror Universe Patrol Escort Question

Hephaestus class skin doesn't work on this ship. However, the Maelstrom -class skin works on the Mirror Universe Advanced Escort. Is this working as intended, or an oversight?

    They borked something. I lost fleet material on my fleet patrol:rolleyes:

    Hephaestus skin works on my Mirror Patrol Escort, but I bought it on the Z-Store before they removed ship skins. I don't know how it would work for people who got it from the fleet version.

    I bought the 3 Cryptic Design ships and the Imperial before cryptic took it off. Kinda wish I bought the KDF one as well.

    Did you get this figured out, because I have a related question...?

    If I purchase the Fleet Patrol Escort from my starbase, would I then be able to use the "Maelstrom" skin on the Mirror Universe Advanced Escort?
