Considering the latest news as well as previous actions the time has clearly come for Stahl to leave.

I joined STO late S5 and joined a 20 person fleet and had a good time. We we're all interested in the Starbase to come out next season, then it came. The system was clearing against small fleets, especially when a good portion of them are Free 2 play people and it became a bad grind. With some reluctance we disbanded our fleet and joined a mega fleet for so me thought it impossible to get Tier 4 and beyond. Eventually I and a few split from the fleet do to other issues but the story applies to many. And rather then address this problem they made it worst by adding a grind to STFs and instead of a more story lined missions they gave us a modified deferia style. THUS another grind. Not to mention increasing the dilithium requirements but not wear you can get them, heck they cut for a bit till fan backlash was too much. Zen/dilithium prices have dropped do to people buying zen to CONVERT to dilithium nd the lost of subscribers do to these changes. Also to note the Romulan Red Alert doesn't work STILL and while the fed get a discount on fleet ships if the have the zen version. NOT SO for KDF. PVP has vitrually died and the calls for a playable romulan faction ignored and ignored. Clearly Stahl has failed.

what can they do to fix this.

1: program the game to figure out the size of fleet and adjust the cost of base tier to it. And don't say you can't do it with tech today it's clearly possible.

2: get rid of the Fed toon requirement for KDF and you see people go to that side and for the early part of the story do the Klingons invading gorn. Not to mention fix the Zen/Fleet issue.

3: Make a PLAYABLE Romulan side. Every past game made the Romulans playable and just going from the story you have IN game you have multiple option like which side the Rommie Toon can join, Tal Shiar or the new Romulan Republic. They would also bring people in.

4: increase content and rewards in fleet marks and STF as well as dil cap on refining. Give subcribers a larger cap then f2p.

5: Fire Dan Stahl

Word of warning, the last few threads like this got closed and people got warning. I think it is taboo to call for people to get fired.

While I agree, anything on this forum is guided by the TOS.

The forum master could make using the letter "E" too much in a sentence a TOS violation and there isn't much we could do about it.

Hopefully it will never become that restrictive.

I must have missed when we elected the leader of Cryptic Studios...

This whole democracy thing is very confusing to me.

Well, while I agree with the TOS, somethings are just taken too far by Cryptic on these forums.

    Hi,

This thread has now most definitely run its course, and isn't providing any constructive feedback, so due to this as well as the nature of the original post, I'm closing this thread down.

And with my magic powers I notify Syberghost that he forgot to lock the thread in the most embarrassing way possible. ;)

It has not run it's course, and how do I violate rules when I simply state facts and suggest ways for Cryptic and PWE to improve?

    how do I violate rules

Calling for anyone to get fired is against the rules.

Calling out Dev's is against the rules.

Mods closing threads for pretty much any reason they want is allowed by the rules, they're mods and have that authority. If they abuse it then they can and will have that authority taken away.

This is not a democracy and the 1st amendment does not apply here.

you as a community moderator are obviously missing the point on how much this decision has peeved off the gameplayers on multiple threads.. instead of shutting it down you should really be paying attention! and passing it on to your masters.

There is a fine line of pointing out flaws and issues with gameplay (that is what forums are for) but we can't call out firing employees or post players info for harassment (works both way)

I am with you on the current system is working again smaller fleet. It is very hard. I have personally propose some idea to help small fleet but no one is commenting on that either other than one person saying "it is a bad idea"

Would it be wrong to just see if Cryptic could "trade" it's current leader back to Zynga. For like some cash and a third round draft pick?

That way nobody gets "fired." But both teams improve, and are better set for their future?
