Is the advanced Jem'Hadar Attack ship the best carrier pet you can have?

    In my opinion it is. After today's patch I think it will be every person's opinion, too.

    Until I can buy this pet without also owning the ridiculously rare Attack Ship, they do not exist in my game. Why the hell do I need to spend 300M credits for an escort I won't use to gain access to a carrier pet?

    You don't need to, but before the patch they were the sole reason my Dreadnought out-DPS'd every escortI've played alongside in any given STF (as determined by parsing). I can't wait until after the patch. DEATH!!!!! DEATH!!!! DEATH!!!!!

    They will be IMO one of the rarest pets in the game. Gotta own the dread and the Attack ship plus spend 30k dil for each over 60k total. I count myself one of the lucky few that has them and already they do alot of damage. I was running one of the combat tracking programs and they out DPSed 2 of my PUG mates in an STF. Ramming speed alone did 60k damage in the match. Torps did the most damage while the dual cannons were pretty much useless as the ship never turns to face a target. Once they do though they do after this patch they will destroy everything.

    They kinda sucked when I first got my dreadnaught, but I guess the patch today might have fixed that, will have to go check it out.

    i noticed peregrines are doing some serious damage now, flying out then coming back in for frontal runs

    as a fed player who enjoys carriers this makes me immediately want to reroll klingon. maybe that was the intention. because klingon have not one but two fantasic, high damage carrier pets in the b'rolth and that fe...fa...whatever carrier pet. yes you are limited to 4 on a 2 hangar ship, but they do insane damage.

    fed has nothing like this, and it makes me sad that i used my jem'hadar dread on my fed character. let us equip the attack ships without owning the attack ship. the dread was costly enough.

    It would be nice to equip the basic version of the JHAS pets on the dreadnought without owning the JHAS with the dilithium store version reserved for those with a bigger than average wallet.
    It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.
    A master with a stone is better than a novice with a sword.
    Has damage got out of control?

    I'd be fine if non-owners could get Greens.


    Blues for an INCREDIBLY high amount.


    Purple should ONLY be available to owners of the JHAS.

    And what about elite scorpions? Are they comparable with jem fighters?
    Grinding for MkIV epic gear?

    This thread is about the attack ship ("Bug") pet, whose purely hypothetical performance I have never seen because these pets are Cryptically denied to me.

    Jem fighters are trash. Elite scorpions walk all over them. Perergrine fighters walk all over them. Heck I think even Slavers would walk all over them.

    DPS wise they are about 50% as effective as most other DPS Hangar pets.

    So no, they are not the best, its the opposite.
