I though Vendors paid 50%

I noticed today that Commodities Broker Fhoss on ESD isn't paying 50%. I sold a dual heavy cannon to him worth 12941 credits, and he paid me 5,176 credits. That's 39.996% of the item's cost.

I have sold him millions of EC's worth of stuff, and he's been undercutting me this whole time. I should have just fed all my junk into the replicator.

Is this a bug, or is the commonly held idea that vendors pay 50% just a myth?

    Commodities Vendors do not give you 50% - you want to trade them to the Consumables vendor on ESD she gives you 50%

    I'm not sure of or if there is a location of DS9 as I don't go there much.

    The consumables traders are near the Security officers on DS9. Facing the docking ring, go right. Last I checked they're still buying at 50%.

    Generally, it's the vendors directly part of the Starfleet that give 50%. The ones in Starfleet uniforms. Freighter captains, ferengi, and civilian merchants tend to only give 40%.

    The bartender in Quarks on DS9 gives 50% :)

    The caitian barman in club 47 at esd will pay you 50% of the items value as well, never trust a ferengi...

    I've recently found out that some Ferengi (on Drozana) even lie about how much they pay. You open their Sell menu and see that item X is listed at 40 EC. You sell it and receive a little over half that price...

    Dilithium Store. 50%... if you know where to look. Before you look though, put an air-tight pillow over your muzzle in case you muzzlepaw too hard.
