Borg and Fabrications

I was wondering, since me and a couple others noticed this today on a STF (normal, not elite) if anyone else noticed this behavior. Turrets and Drones (the engineer fabrications) get the adapted debuff on them, and when they do, they behave rather oddly. They either keep attacking and deal no damage at all (not a 0 or 1...just nothing shows up in the combat text at all), or, on multi hit attacks, like the turrets, the first hit will deal some damage, and the others will do nothing (no 0 or 1...no combat text at all). A few people I talked to said the adapted debuff use to show on them, but never did anything, while others say that things like fabrications and security escorts are capable of remodulating themselves, which I have never seen happen. So, the question is...has anyone else noticed this behavior?

I had noticed, like you, that they did not remodulate and assumed that it was either a bug that was never corrected or they changed direction in regards to turret remodulation.

Admittedly, this is from memory and I would not be able to cite evidence. :o

I'm not sure if they should or should not remodulate by themselves.

While im not sure about security escort and thier remoidulation.. im pretty sure that turrets cant remodulate on thier own

However.. The engineering ability 'support drone' comes with a quick fix ability (amongst other things) which overcomes adaption and doesnt have a huge cooldown, now if you have a Purple fabrication doff equipped you get 3 support drones, all with a quickfix :D

If you ever see a blue/red aura moving up and down your fabrications/self/team mates, you just got quick fixed :p
[Combat (Self)] Your Bite deals 2378 (1475) Physical Damage(Critical) to Spawnmother.

Unfortunately you cant govern the drone.

Well, as I remember it, fabrications use to get the debuff, but it didn't affect them. Now it seems to affect them in a kinda buggy way. If they are infact being affected by it, then they should be dealing 1 damage like a player. Rather, they deal no damage and it doesn't even show in the log that they attacked, or they deal 1 out of 4 hits of damage, the other 3 just doing nothing at all. And sure, Quick Fix provides a remod, on a 1 minute cooldown, and in terms of the drone, isn't controllable. I think when they messed with plasma fire and making it be able to be adapted to, I think they broke it for fabrications. And with the burst fire nature of higher level turrets, Quick Fix isn't really a viable option for remodding them...you'd almost be better off resummoning, but even that has a cooldown to it, and removes some of the utility of the turrets/drones...especially the drones with their long cooldowns.

So I suppose if this is the intended behavior for summons...they need to give them a way to remod, or let our remod work on them as well. And if its a bug...I really do wish they'd fix it.

And also...it'd just be nice to know if this is actually a bug or not in the first place >.>
