So.

Ground combat. Yech. I've played better game types on my Android. But, I have to do them.

So I use Shooter Mode, as targeting is wonky. But when I kick in Aim Mode in Shooter Mode, the camera zooms WAY in (WAY, WAY in)... up my backside, and beyond...

I have "use zoom cam with aim mode" set to off, but it only affects RPG controls, not Shooter. And I'm not that good an aim whilst camped up the rear end of my character. Nor do I like Aim Mode, Mouse Wheel Downdowndowndown, ooops had to roll, AimModeMouseWheelDownDownDown, repeat, repeat.

There's gotta be a solution I just haven't found. Right? Right...? Please help.

    Use RPG mode, then hit your zoom button (for me, it's "Z"). It doesn't zoom in too far, and no shots will miss. PVP players use this most often.

    RPG mode makes me have to deal with the finicky, ridiculous tab-targetting or use the mouse to try to select a target, as something as simple as auto-fire was apparently removed.

    I have fleetmates who use Shooter Mode and don't have the insane zoom-in, so I know it's some setting somewhere, but we can't puzzle it out.

    Just to ask a basic question -

    Have you tried scrolling your mouse wheel down?
