RP Fleets?

Is Roleplaying dead in STO? For a while now I've been looking for a Roleplaying fleet, and whenever I find one, they either don't RP at all, or no one is ever online.
I'm not exactly a RP genius, but I'd love to join a RP fleet. So I thought I'd try my luck here.

Are there any RP fleets recruiting? Let me know. Either in here or in game @Chokopop23 .

EDIT: Been getting loads of random invites today, so I thought I'd add this. FYI - Don't just invite me. I tend to reject random fleet invites. Send me a message first.

    You are lucky, I've been looking for an RP fleet and found no one, gotten no invites either T_T. If you find a good one can you give me a shout @krypter3

    I'm also looking to RP in STO. I'd like a fleet to join so I have other people to RP with, as it doesn't seem like there are many solo RPers out there.

    The way I understand it is most RPing is done on the forum, which is okay with me. However, I don't know how to RP on a forum, I've never done it before. Most of my RPing experience comes from live chat RP. Anyway, I'd like to be able to RP in game, and I'm willing to learn how to RP on the forum. I should probably mention that I've never RPed in the Star Trek universe, so there is another learning curve for me!

    (Also going to check out the 26th fleet link above, thanks for sharing that!)

    Is it possible you guys pick up new RPers to this game? Also what if they have a F2P model of the game as well.

    I am the recruiter officer for the 26th fleet I would love to answer all your questions. Hit me up inside the game @Juroden I'm usually on at night central american time. I know we are always looking to add more faces to our huge community lf rpers. If you want hit me up in a PM here pr on the Enjin site. Ill square you awY.

    As for people who play F2P I know thats a non issue since Ive been on the F2P model since the game swiched over.

    We love picking up new players to the game. And like Rhys said, F2P is not an issue. I think about half of our membership base is running on the silver plan these days.

    Greetings all,

    Seeing how this is turning into a general recruitment thread, I would like to add the 5th Special Operations Division up for consideration for everyone.

    We are a fleet that has been around for a while, however we recently went through a renovation period and are back at it in full swing. We are looking to expand upon our already stable starbase platform, and looking to really explore the RP universe. Since we are in beginning stages of our fleet development, with a base storyline that is ever adapting, if you get in now you can be a part of 5th SOD lore.

    I will be messaging all those who voiced interest within this thread in-game, however if anyone else is interesting in more information you can check out our forum thread.

    Further, you can contact Locke@ubermatten or Trent@kpts4tv for additional information.

    Hi there, I realize this thread is a few days old and that RPrs who post here tend to get snapped up by fleets in fairly quick order, but I would like to invite you to visit the website and wiki of the Alpha Centuari Institute. We are small fleet of 20 or so members with a long history of friendly, mature play in-game. We are an RP fleet with activities ranging from casual RP to full-blown "episodes" and storylines among our many players and characters, but we also spend time just playing the game or chatting and everyone is always willing to help each other.
