Not seeing a lot of 'review' there... ;)

I like the Ambassador ok, it's boff layout is how I thought the Star Cruiser should have been, with the LC Sci station. It's a good addition to the ship roster for leveling and solid for when you are at Rear Admiral, but isn't Z-store level (I'm sure that version will come soon).

Called a Support Cruiser and that's a good name for it. the LC Sci power lets you get a good strong power for buffing/healing/control.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

From my experiences with it, it's a solid ship depending on its layout. I've tested the ship against a friend of mine with a brutal Tactical Odyssey, siphon loaded Vo'Quv, and a cannon-loaded Vesta. The Ambassador held up well each time for me. Though it put out a considerable less amount of overall damage, it pulled out ahead in each test run.

I've yet to take the ship up against an escort but that's something I plan to do soon.

I'll have to disagree here. I'd say its on par with the C-Store level ships. Over the past three years I've been playing, I've found that the free ships will more than hold their own agaisnt the C-Store ships. Granted, the C-Store ships do typicaly have some little feature that will give them a slight edge damage wise, but I've found those ships tend to, for lack of better terminology, "go splat" a lot quicker than their free counterparts.

I've found both versions on par with the other free ships of those levels. It's a fun extra to keep around for when you want a change.

By Z-store level I meant no 10th console slot more than anything else.

A most of the C-Store ships don't have a 10th console slot. Only the Bortasqu', Odyssey, and Vesta do.

Regent, Armitage, and Atrox are three released around Season 6 (when they introduced Fleet ships) all lack a 10th console, though the Armitage and the Atrox both have hangar bays, and the Armitage and Regent have Fleet versions at T5 shipyard.
