Notice San Francisco actually faces away from the sun when you're in the Sol System but its day when you beam down?
I agree it would be a great social area if they added more... maybe the ensign rank should have training there instead of the mission at the start of the game that most of us find out of date and repetitive.
Are you even remotely aware of the time this game plays in?
Holographic George and Gracy then.
Or G & G's descendants.
Number one on my wishlist: New FED transporter effect
Number two: 22nd Century Excursion Jackets
Number three: Handheld communicator animation for non-combadge uniforms

Yeah its 2409 but weren't George & Gracie taken from the past? Who says that never happened again?
But, we could go even further than that. Haven't Starfleet got great medical facilities that can allow people live longer? I would imagine this would go the same with the veterinary facilities then.
Given that Humpback whales can live on average 50-179 years, I think that they may just have survived until 2409, since 'The Voyage Home' took place in 2286.
Then again, it could have had something to do with Q...
But I do like the idea of a Hologram in the ocean also or George & Gracie descendants.....
ALWAYS THINK OF THE POSSIBLE ? NEVER THE IMPOSSIBLE.
Suggestion for Starfleet Academy - To Have George & Gracie appear in the River now and then.
Weather alterations, rain/thunder night/day - Think SFA would look brilliant in night light.
And active shuttle bay - skirmishes like the vault, above San Francisco
When I read your forum text I tried to interpret the mission objective.
As for suggestions for the academy:
* Spaceship Hangar Access
* Make the area map bigger, with room to grow and to put future content.
* More mini events similar to the one we have right now with Q's party goers.
* Find a use for the holosuites, perhaps combat simulations for groups. (Also saw this in another thread somewhere.)

Still say that when you get to VA50, the Admiral should have his/her own office on Academy grounds.
It's a nice place to go to get away from the darkness of space.
