Looking for a long term home

Hello to all,

I recently returned after several months away in order to see season 7 and the upcoming anniversary event. After playing through season 7 I have found myself once again hooked, to the point that I have become a gold member after 3yrs of playing. I also made the choice to start completely fresh with an engineering character who will be strictly tank built.

As expected friends that played the game have come and gone and I find myself alone in the world of STO, it's not quite the same as you can understand. As such I am looking for a new fleet who has just recently started but who have long term aims and actual goals to back up their expectations. I am not interested in joining an already established fleet with hundreds of members, I much prefer a small roster where bonds are closely formed. Ideally a mix of UK players must be in the fleet so as there's activity to suit my time zone. I am not interested in PvP/RP fleets though.

As already stated I have played since release and have multiple 50s with end content items so will be able to add something positive to the fleet I join. I'm also a whizz with website building should that be needed.

Would really appreciate some responses that match the above information. I can ofc be found in game on @ashalfa, well once the event lag is sorted and I stop running around aimlessly in circles.

Good evening. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. We are a small but great fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but that?s part of what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game and in some cases RL. We have a fleet TeamSpeak3 server that we use for voice chat not just in-game but also to hang out as well and get to know each other better (not required, just available). Many of us are located on the East Coast (USA).

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, we also realize that everyone has lives as well, so therefore when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about losing your position within the fleet due to RL too. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand that sometimes real life issues and problems can take time to resolve, and that some time is needed to sort things out.

So please, think about joining and moving with us into 2409 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.

Hey Ashalfa I myself am a closed beta day player been around all 3 years and am 1 of the fleet adm. in two Fleets that are small but have all 1000+ day members and we still play everyday.like i said we are small but a closenit bunch of friends we have our own Teamspeak and a klink fleet also would like for check us out because we can allways love to have another vet.instead of a hand holder you can hit me or T'Kvox ingame anytime Bud we'd Definitly like to have ya..have fun in there.......Waco

If you are over 30 years old and looking for a relaxed fleet then you should at least check-out the TOS Veterans Fleet. We are a medium sized fleet spread out over two continents and we are a lot of fun. We may be established but since we are casual it seems to have a good mix of people on to do whatever you want. But not too many that you get lost in the crowd. Our UK side of the fleet has grown to about 25 people and there seems to be a good mix of newbies and serious gamers. The one thing we all have in common is that we are (becoming) middle aged, we love everything Star Trek and we want to hang with same minded people.

We have no rules, nothing is mandatory and no bosses.

Hey,

First, welcome back from your absence.

Second, business. After reading your requirements, I am quite interested with what you write about yourself and feel that you would be a great addition to our fleet.

There is one little hitch that I will point right off the bat in case it is a full deal breaker, we are an RP fleet. However, with that being said, the level of your potential participation is completely up to you.

It was your need for a small community that really perked my interest. 5th SOD is a fairly small fleet (although we have been around for a while in different incarnations). Currently a handful of committed, friendly, mature players. We currently run a level 1 starbase, that is nearing on 2. We are just in the beginning stages of a new recruiting after some reconstruction, naturally we are looking for some new officers.

Hi there I hope you will take the time to consider starfleet elite tactical force we are a slightly larger fleet than you were looking for at around 260-270 at last count however we are looking to recruit members who will contribute to the fleet via mutual chat team missions and helping those in need to both level up by rerunning missions with those that need it and by helping them with builds and respec's. As for U.K. based times I myself am from Scotland and there is usually several members in the fleet on throughout the day.

After contacting several ppl/fleets who showed interest in recruiting me, I am yet to hear any response so I will give it till the end of the day. Any other possible offers from small or new fleets are very welcome, I don't mind taking a form of leadership or building a website for example.

Looking forward to more responses and will be online for most of today, so use this opportunity to actually speak with me
