The One Thing I Really Want

captainrevo1captainrevo1 Member Posts: 3,948 Arc User
The thing i want more than anything is the ability to advertise new mission to my subscribers.

I know its something that is on the list to add, but to me as an author its the number 1 thing I want implemented. If i spend time making a mission i want the people who have shown an interest to be notified its there. especially as more and more missions get added, its becoming a real chore for players to find new missions quickly.

if 10'000 people play part 1, then we need effective ways to let the know part 2 is up.

This naturally leads into being able to group missions into arcs as well so as long as they play part 1, they can quickly see what missions link into it.

Does anyone agree this is a priority? Feel free to disagree and add another suggestion.

I'd rather not have to go to youtube to find out if my favorite Foundry author has made a new mission or the next mission for their story arc

I for one would LOVE this idea

Yeah, I agree with this. It's important... I think additional sort options, including additional default sort options may be important too though.

Right now I think the Foundry community might be worse off than prior to the rewards change.

Start a thread with your Missions. Users can subscribe to it. This would give a way for us to know about them until Cryptic comes up with something better.

I know there are A LOT of authors I would subscribe to. As bad as my memory is, I need all the help I can get... :P

The problem is that probably less than 10% of the players in the game ever make it to the forums. So a forum thread misses a lot of your audience.

Yes that is a good idea, and i use twitter and the forums, but i am specifically thinking about in game, and the no doubt countless people that dont follow me on twitter or whatever.

I for one would love at the end of a mission for the option to add "Captainrevo" to a favorites list on the foundry tab or even a message at the end of the missions "Here are some other missions by this user", It keeps it in game,

and it means we don't have to tab out to either twitter or the Forums to do so, as not many people come to the forums

You'd first need the subscription system in place for that. Supposedly coming "soon"?

How about the ability to make a reply option green like in the real missions in the game?
