    Its official they have done it again. This is an issue either with cryptics ISP or with the routers themselves. If your seeing this error right now odds are good your being blocked. You can sometimes get around this by adjusting settings on your router or by disconnecting the router. It tends to crop up after maintenance sometimes and is a real pain in the rear.

    I suspect its the result of someone trying to speed through the maintenance process and they really need to address it.

    A good way to test and see if you are having this issue is by going to www.Startrekonline.com. That appears to try and take you through the same server if you can not load that page then odds are you are being blocked. You can still access the website and forums via the perfect world URL because they are on a different server.

    I can get into the website. I just cannot get the launcher to launch.

    its a strange one. Simple fix for those with a mobile connection... I created a wifi hotspot on my phone and got the update and launched the game fine, then switched back to dsl and all is dandy.

    Just download the new Launcher manually:
    http://files.startrekonline.com/launcher/Star%20Trek%20Online.exe

    Replace the old one. It's working for me now.

    Cant you guys just reverse the update till you know what you broke so bad by adjusting a few numbers on a few items........

    Reverse the change, and add these updates to Thursdays patch or something.

    Nope, it's not Europe only. And it's affecting both CO and STO. I'm in the US, and people I know also in the US are running into the same dead end.
