Greetings to all Captains!
THE 300 Special Operations Fleet is looking for new members to bolster its ranks. The Fleet Starbases are a major focus of our efforts and our Starbase "THE AEGIS" is being constantly upgraded. We also have an open store policy to make sure all our members have full access to our fully provisioned fleet stores after they have passed probation. We want to give all STO-players the opportunity to enjoy the new endgame content in a friendly and helpful environment. The Fleet was established during STO Beta and has been active ever since. You can also read the roleplaying background on our fleet and officers at our website along much more interesting information.

Only fleet members of THE 300 or its alliances will have access to our forums, though any visitors will get a visitor temporary access status when they register. Registered Members will also have access to our voice chat (Mumble).
We also have a Klingon Fleet: Wej Vatlh. Please contact us if you are interested in a home for your Klingon characters! We are currently holding regular KDF Events on every Thursday.
We have a well-structured organization with active participation and are looking to expand upon our regularly scheduled events through additional membership. A majority of our existing members are scattered across the USA and Europe; as such, we have regularly scheduled events accommodating various time zones. Our executive officers hold an in-game Fleet Council meeting once every 6 weeks, which all members are welcome to attend. In this meeting we cover topics such as: promotions, scheduling of events, fleet alliances, and more.
Our current PVE team events include STF-Academy/Training (Infected, The Cure, etc.), Elite STF Missions, Fleet Actions (DS9, Breen Blockade, etc.), Foundry missions and other new content. A main focus will be the upcoming fleet starbases and fleet missions as we want to make sure all our members have access to the new fleet ships and gear. RP (roleplaying) is encouraged but not required in our Fleet, we are quite casual about it; most of our RP is tied to our written Fleet history and character bios (available on our website) - however any RP'ers are welcome and most members are enjoying RP to a certain degree (I am a big fan of it).
Notes on Fleet Recruitment
Valor, Dedication, and Honor are traits sought after in candidates to THE 300. We are looking for members who get along well with others and can function in a team; we do not tolerate rude or disrespectful attitudes. We take members with gaming experience, but we are also very helpful to anyone looking for tips to improve their skills and will accept new members at any level. We are looking for active and socializing people who want to enjoy the game in a friendly and positive atmosphere.
The Fleet has a 30 day probationary period for new members. During the probationary time you will have no withdrawal access to our Fleet bank, but can view and request items from any Fleet officer; we instituted this policy to reduce the threat of theft and so far it has worked. Daily withdrawal limits for members are set by Fleet rank. THE 300 is led by a council of elected Executive Officers, who in turn, elect a Fleet Marshal. Together they form the Office of the Fleet Marshal. All fleet members are accountable to the Office of the Fleet Marshal, including individual executive officers.

As I write this report we are in the 3rd week of the new year, while we still recover from the outstanding Holiday-Party we have redoubled or recruitment efforts!
Yes, that's right - we still are recruiting new and experienced players of the game alike, if you enjoy being part of a friendly, positive and helpful gaming community you should give us a thorough check, but see for yourself at www.The300.net what we have to offer.
Right now we focus on getting our fleet holding upgrade projects and we already are preparing our next great party for our 3rd anniversary - arriving this february!

I have just arrived from THE 300's fantastic 3rd Anniversary Party, it was a very nice event. We had guests from Jupiter Force, STO Public Services and S.A.S. - while we had our share of dancing and some bottles of Tranya, we also offered a scavengerhunt-trivia-mission. You had to answer a lot of game related questions and had to collect some Items to qualify for one of the great rewards.
First place got to choose from either a Zen-Gift Card or a Tholian Orb weaver Ship, TacPaddy from the famous Public Service channel (former Call Tuffli)was the fastest one and choose the Zen as he already got the ship - that left our 2nd with more Zen and 3rd place with the Tholian Ship.
Congratulations to all winners!!!
We all had a lot of fun and are already planning for the 4th Anniversary in 2014! Thanks again to all our guests - you made this a party to be remembered!
