Are the holodecks at the academy functional?

Hi all,
I was looking around the academy and see 3 holodecks, I know some doors are not accessible, because there's nothing behind them, but the holodeck doors do open and I can walk inside, but there doesn't seem to be any consoles to operate it, and I was wondering if the holodecks are actually functional, or just a means of showing what they look like?

    Prior to Season 5 I think it was, which ever one gave us the redone mission UI, you could use it to access the replay function I believe. Now as far as I know they aren't used for anything outside of foundry stuff maybe.

    I think the plan was to tie those into mission replay, but that didn't happen. I hope they do something with them, as well as the holodeck on the Fleet starbase. I think one of the holodecks is wired as a foundry interactible though.

    my mistake, although IIRC you can use the ensign in one of them as a foundry contact

    Indeed , we have one "hook" near the Holodecks.
    An Academy Cadet who is standing around in one.

    That's it.
    Checking KDF side now.

    EDIT to Add : Absolutely nothing at the Klingon Academy is interactable within the Holodecks. at best there is a generator nearby to one of them.

    at starfleet academy there are doors in the halls near the holodecks that can be used as entry points for foundry missions.

    At the klingon academy the doors are pretty far away.
