For those who didn't get enough 8x10s....

Just wondering, if we didn't get enough 8x10 pictures of Q......what do we do with them (I'm going to have 750 by the end of the event).

I'm not suggesting we extend the event or anything, but maybe have something like...I don't know....a Breen shuttle that costs say 500-750 photos?

That way, those who didn't or couldn't run enough times for a Breen ship can get something, even if it's only a minor token of the holiday season, and it's still not cheap enough for those who showed no effort at all.

    My wife started playing STO in the middle of the event. Realizing she wasn't going to get a 1000 before the 14th - we bought some Zen and started opening up lock boxes for the lobi crystals - and then buying the packages containing the 8x10 pictures of Q. So maybe invest $20 into some zen.

    Bit late in the day now to introduce something new as that will just annoy people who could have saved and did not know.

    yes i think there should have been some smaller prizes just so they were not a complete waste (maybe next year). it may also turn out that there is a use for them later, even if its as simple as converting them to latinum or using them next year so dont throw them away.

    the lobi vendor is staying until 31st jan, despite the winter event closing down on the 14th so you have some time to buy the 8x10's. while it may work out expensive, its still going to be a decent deal for a lock box quality ship.

    Thought I may have seen a comment about the photos will have other uses in the future. I may be mistaken or could be telepathic and just let the cat out of the bag. Who knows?

    I'll keep them. Just in case they might be useful again. In the meantime I'll hang a photo on each of the decks of my Multi Mission Science Vesta class vessel. :)

    not sure your vessel can handle that much awesomeness as having a Q Picture on every deck

    Yeah just save them, might be an event in the near future or at the least probably next Winter Celebration you might be 1/2 way to whatever ship that will be. I got my ship already, but still running the races just in case they do something.

    The alternative is to make up the missing balance via lobi crystals. The Chel Grett is the best DPS-dealer I've used so far...

    I think you saw a comment saying a 'final decision' has not yet been made regarding them - so "hold on to them in your bank" and keep your eyes peeled.

    Short of any ploys to get us to buy more bank space, I'm looking rather negatively upon this. Shouldn't game design be thought out and nailed down a bit further than ~30-40 days before it is implemented?

    I'll have 850 or so pictures on 3 chars this weekend. I won't buy packages since they are completely overpriced. I hope i'll be able to use what i have during the next event, i'd hate to see them turned into GPL or some other useless TRIBBLE i can't fly. :D
