Since Nebula is a very lovely ship, but its special console stinks somewhat. Why not improve the ship a little and make it worth purchase.

A Barrage of 6 photon torpedoes, on 2 minute cooldown. Ability similar to Point defence Torpedo console from Armitage, but single barrage only.
Enhanced Enginering Pods
Something, haven't figured what, lol. But the 3rd Nebula variant sports 2 small nacelles. So perhaps greater power output/speed + whatever.
You could only equip one of these consoles at a time. No set bonuses.

Once the KDF is on par with the Federation in ships and content, then I would agree the Nebula needs a passover.

Of course. I'm all for KDF ships myself. Don't get me wrong, KDF is in sorely need of ships. I would prefer something like the Fek'Ihr class from Starfleet Command 3, as klingon science ship / battle cruiser. Can be a nebula like ship for KDF.
As for the Different pods my take would be;
Tactical Pod: This pod would introduce a new Federation weapon Tachyon/Photon Torpedo Hybrid. This is a new experimental Federation Photon Torpedo: Ability to launch quick succession of three torpedoes in a three set spread for a total of nine torpedoes at a single target. These torpedoes have been modified with a tachyon emission module. Just before reaching the target the torpedos explode creating a tachyon bubble severely reducing target shield regeneration rate and a moderate reduction in shield power with a chance to completely take target shield system offline for three secs. The effectiveness would be based on aux power.
Sensor Pod: The sensor pod would be similar to sensor scan except it would emit a wide spread tachyon beam. This beam would immediatley spread to any other ship within a 5km range and have a damage defense debuff and turn rate debuff applied for 15 secs. Anyone attacking this target with phaser beams will have a chance to take down shields of target. (A nod to cruiser players.) Also this scan will prevent any ships from cloaking for 10 Secs
Engineering Pod:This is another new pod introduced by Starfleet Corp of Engineers. Once attached this pod has a special conduit that siphons warp plasma from the engines to augment auxillary power to emit a Light Density Plamsa Wave. This wave interferes with target ships weapons systems causing cascade overload throughout target vessel causing energy weapons to go offline and moderate damage resist debuff to photon torpedos overtime. If target ship is hit by High Yield Torpedo/Torpedo Spread II or III chance to ignite plasma for devastating explosion.

well, about the consoles, i dont expect them to be buffed, coz they are overpowered on pvp, one click on them is enough to take down a brel in seconds for example...
nebula is somehow a copy of the galaxy class, and magellan a copy of the monarch... so, why devs dont do the same with the venture? it would take like 30mins to make a new skin. the ships have lack of customization capabilities, we should have more skins or more options on the ship tailor, coz most of the ships have 3 classes to choose on tailor, advanced research vessel needs one more too, ive bought the venture to have ams, but i dont mind paying more 500zen to get the best ship of the game prettier
A lot of ships could use little bits of love like this. It'd keep people happy for a bit longer while we wait on the jupiter/typhoon/ambassador/KDF completion
the oringinal twinn strut nebula senor pod would be science with 6 weapon slots built in scenor scan+scenor anylise and 10% more shields and aux. with science commander and the rest of the officers universal
the tacatical pod on nebula would be the escort nebula class with 7 weapon with auto tactial targeting weapons and engines scenors and the weapons pod has automated phasers/torpedeo launchers also +20% to weapons. with one commander officer and the rest universal officers
the engineneering nebula pod woud be the extra mini warp necells with phaser boxes on all necells for nebula cruiser class that would allow +10% more power to be dumped into the energy array, shields and engines at the cost of -10 to aux. one commander engineneering officer the rest universal.
and maybe have a scout nebula class with no nebula pod, 6 weapon slots and all universal officers with +10% to engines due to being lighter with no pod and +5% to shields and +5% aux. or the scout nebula with +20% to engines at the cost of no bonus to other systems.
