Will my toons ''survive''

If I delete this game from my computer (I play trough steam).
Will my toons be saved somewhere if I install the game again? (On another computer?)

    Your toons are saved to your account, so they will survive if you uninstall. I've done that many times.

    Yes, that data is stored server side.

    Characters, ships, items, and all that are stored in the STO servers. If you uninstall the game, they will not be deleted. So, if/when you reinstall, you can still play.

    Keep in mind, if you don't play for a few months, your characters will be moved off the main server to a storage server. They aren't deleted, but the first time you log back in, they won't be there. Just log out and back in and everything will be right as rain.

    If you install the game on another computer. You will need to download any necessary patches. But once all that is done and you log in, your toons will be there waiting for you.

    Your characters are stored in Cryptic's servers. They'll be fine. As long as you use the same account name when you log in from a different computer, your characters will be available.

    LOL. First time I played an MMO I was in game asking how I save my game progress. I was use to memory cards and such on Playstations and Nintendos and had the same question the OP did. :cool:
