What is an Atrox in Caitian?

We all know the wonderful Atrox class carriers that the Caitians built... but what is an Atrox after which this ship class was named? Any fancy ideas?

Judging from other Caitian names we know of, it is not a more or less modern era Caitian personal name.

Considering that the whole word does not sound all that Caitian, I would put my bets on a mythological figure of some kind, much like Greek or Roman mythological figures don't sound very much like any modern language (not even modern Greek).

The nature of the ship is such that it is very large, and uses "Stalker" fighters. So maybe "Atrox" was a god of the hunt?
Remember, STO is nothing but a cosmetics game, where only the rule of cool matters. The game mechanics are intentionally out of balance, don't try to "optimize" anything, as it would just frustrate you.

How do you know for certain? Is there any dev statement about the Caitian Atrox carriers being named a Terran animal from prehistoric times?
Being named after the largest lion (extinct) subspecies make sense than being called "Terrible". After all it could be the Starfleet who designated the refurbished carrier that name.

I'd guess (not that up on my Caitian lore, sorry) that the "true" class name of the ship is something like Meow-meooo-merarr. Since us differently-evoloved humans do not speak Caitian, an "english/standard" reporting name was created, and Atrox is the lucky draw...

Heck, compared to other english reporting names ("Foxbat", anyone? Or "Fulcrum"?), Atrox sounds just fierce enough to invoke "Meow-meooo-merarr"... :P

(sorry if I inadvertently offended any Caitians with my rough-random typing of their language...)
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...
