Don't leave your small fleet

I like my small fleet, just me and about 5 good friends. I know a lot of people have a similar fleet situation. My friends are not always on at the same time and it makes progress a little slow.

What I am looking for is a few people who are already in a fleet that wouldn't mind being regular "partners". You stay in your fleet, I stay in mine, we just team up often, maybe get on skype to trash talk a bit between or during missions. Perhaps a channel with a band of about 10 small 5 person fleets. That way we could organize fleet actions without having to PUG.

Anyone interested in this?

    My fleet is the Hiigaran Empire, theres 6 of us, in our late teens (+My Dad!)


    Just like you, not all my freinds are around all the time - Which makes 5 man missions unfrequent. I think this a good idea.

    I'd be up for it, but my playing habits are too erratic to be useful to anyone else. *shrug*


    Also, +1 for the "don't abandon your small fleet" sentiment.

    The developers need to hear more things like that to counter the aggravating "quit whining about grind and join a big fleet full of indifferent strangers." :rolleyes:

    I'm at work for a few more hours, but I will send you a message in game when I get home (as well as a friend request). Maybe we can get the ball rolling on this. Any ideas for a channel name, something inclusive and would allow similar channels to be set up for other groups that might look at doing something like this?

    Maybe something like "Squad Support Alpha". Then other groups of 5-10 small fleets could set up "Squad Support Beta", Delta, Gamma etc. Yes/no?

    Our fleet would love to set up something along these lines. We've got a teamspeak server set up and rolling that has more than enough capacity to host multiple smallish fleets with different chat rooms, as necessary. Most of us are working stiffs, but me and our TS host are usually online during the day (I'm a stay at home dad, he's a work from home programmer).

    We are the Third Fleet Task Force. We've got an open chat channel, TFTFSTO, primarily for cross-faction chatter, but fell free to join and give a shout out to anyone who happens to be on. Or send a PM or in-game mail to me (@clearbeard), our leader (@John_Masters), or our #2 and TS master (@miguelister) and we can discuss details.

    Sounds like the UFC is what you may be looking for. The UFC is made of smaller fleets that gather together to do STFs, PVP, play Foundry missions and most of all have fun.     I have to admit, this sounds amazing. I am glad I don't have to lay any ground work to get something like this set up. The teamspeak servers are a huge bonus, I haven't used it before but will have to get it now. Thanks :D

    No worries. I will speak with Gen-Hauk (site admin) and see what needs to be done to get this resolved. But in the mean team welcome to you and your fleet. If you can send me a PM and I will get you our TS info.

    We have around a dozen fleets that participate in one manner or the other. Big or small does not matter as all are welcome.

    If both of your fleets want to join a bigger fleet PM me. We are almost done with Tier 4 and have lots of fun loving people :cool:

    I ran into this problem as well. It was about 3 days ago, I filled out the contact us page and still haven't received an email.
