Issues with placing Doff on active Space

Hi I recently got a new duty officer for flight deck, and the game isn't letting me put it on active space duty. When looking I see a message saying "this DOFF can not be placed on active space duty at this time" I have a empty space for a 5th doff on space duty so what gives here only 4 of my space slots are used?

    Are you flying a carrier of any kind? That might be part of it if you aren't.

    Also, you can only have so many DOFFs from one area, like Tactical or Engineering, namely up to 4 of them.

    Could just be lag, or some other bug. Just would need more info to figure it out.

    was it the new fleet surpport pack ?

    whats the doff called?

    do u have roster space

    what doffs are using at the moment?

    You can only have a max of three flight deck officers active at a time, which could explain the problem.

    If you bought the doff from the exchange, however, make sure you didn't buy one from the opposite faction. It's pretty easy to do.

    The names are Hrrall a farasan, and the other has vanished was also a farasan, this was on fed characters that I couldn't use them I tried mailing them back and forth. I'm thinking I must have accidentally deleted the mail for the other with out taking it out of the mail.

    As for how many flight deck officers I had active aside from the one each there were none at the time. I was getting them for each character as both flew heavy escort carriers.

    If it ends out there is a faction limitation then the remaining one can go to my kdf character that I'm planing on getting a carrier for I suppose.

    it sounds like its the wrong faction right click on it and have a close look at the backround if it has a fed flag its fed and should work with a fed charater

    if u payed for this out of a pack make a ticket and get ur cpoints back

    Faresans are a KDF race.
