Science Officer Stuck With Odd Looking "Things"

I got a report of a meteor striking a planet while going to a mission. I beamed down and started scanning meteor fragments (after getting rid of some aliens also here for the fragments) and after one such battle, my Science Officer got stuck with some weird graphics about her character. She does not move.

Here's what it looks like:

Is she dead? I tried to CPR her. What do those little graphical thingies mean?

    After digging in the online help (I should have gone there first :rolleyes: ) I found out that this is a "Rally Point", not yet covered by any of the tutorials. I have unset it and all is cool now. Sorry for any inconvenience :o

    Later on you'll need to use Rally Points in the story to get your BOffs to stand on certain triggers to solve puzzles/activate doors. It's also useful for setting traps in strategic locations/building emplacements before assaulting.
