I've noticed that we don't seem to be getting given Diplomatic XP (or CXP now its in the DoFF system) for successfully completing this mission... (or the one revolving around the bartering for parts).
I'd really like to see these missions give out Diplomatic CXP still as it appears to give out nothing at all except for the 15% towards the sector daily... while the combat missions obviously provide both items and expertise.
Also... if you successfully negotiate your way through... you get 15% towards the daily...
if you don't successfully negotiate and have to fight your way out... you get 15% towards the daily... (plus any item drops and expertise/XP).
It would be really nice to see the diplomatic success rise to 20% or something to show its the preferred option. I know this mission is KDF and Fed, and that the KDF are more than likely to want to just blow em up
lol - but there should be a reward for successfully using diplomatic channels IMHO.
Just would help it to feel more like Star Trek than "Generic Space Shooter 2409"...
Just a thought... the mission does need something tho for successful completion diplomatically... otherwise people are likely to just avoid it and do the 5-wave enemy missions for the items & expertise...

Acamar negotiation: Diplomacy
The trading one: Trading (duh!)
Starbase War Game: Military
Gekli Herding (sigh): Exploration perhaps?
Tholian artifact scanning: Espionage
Did I forget one?
main problem, though would be exploitation. What would stop anyone from repeating Acamar for hours and grind out his max Diplomacy?
Just give the Fed players the Klingon option to go straight to the fight. I'd rather just murder the Acamerians than sit through their whining if I am just going to have to fight anyway.
Come on - those romulans are push over - in my Defiant tac its like 15 sec - in my sci fleet nebula it like 40 secs to kill them tops.
you're missing the point : why make it seem like a diplomatic mission when it in fact isn't ( since last patch ) ? It's not about how easy or hard those foes are , it's completely out of sync with the first part of the mission.
