Uni cmdr?

Thought i made a thread earlier asking this, but I can't find it so I must have messed up... :o

I don't have the time right now to repeat it in it's eloquentness, so i'll cut right to the point:

How do i get a universal cmdr on my ship?

    EDIT:
    I've heard this is not a sploit, but people seem reluctant to lay down the details. If it's not a sploit, and people seem to believe they shouldn't tell, is it an easter egg? Should this thread have a spoiler alert?

    I think all you need to do is equip it and go tool around in it a bit.

    Yes Cryptic is stupid enough to say something this game breaking is not an exploit. Other devs would ban people...

    If you assign a boff to your shuttle and then switch your main ship the boff's abilities will be in your list (press P).

    Renaming boffs so they get shuffled also seems to TRIBBLE with things, I ended up with more than one boff I shouldn't have on my fed that way.

    Bort has said we should enjoy ourselves with this until it is fixed.

    I personally abuse NPCs with the extra abilities but remove them from my tray before entering PvP. I confess last night I triggered a DEM I shouldn't have but drunk hit me with pain sticks so I learn.

    hah, tried it and had a good lol or two. (PvE)

    My escort suddenly had two additional Cmdr sci boffs :D

    Nothing like a good GW3+SS3 combo before unleashing ScatteVolley3+TorpSpread3! Those Tholians never even saw it coming! :D

    The biggest surprise: For PvE play, two extra Cmdr sci slots really didn't do much for my escort at all....SV+TS still did 95% of the job. At most, I shaved 2-3 seconds off killing a mob...
