I don't follow the dev tracker, and one shouldn't have to. The information should be more visible to people who visit the main page, and forums.
I would vote to bring back the calendar on the front page, so we can see when things are going to happen.
True, but then the Devs might feel like they could be held accountable to what they put on the calendar*, and we wouldn't want that, would we?
Similar story with their backtracking on several of the big squeezes of Season 7 - burying that news in a little post, rather than giving it the glory of its own front-page News item.
*regardless of the little asterix indicating that all dates are subject to change.
Next poster from you linked the main forum splash page for me.
I've played other games where the Dev finder was an obvious button the lept out, not something that needed to be found.
But it is "obvious". it's the third forum on the main forum page.
Which means you had to have ignored it and skipped to the Discussion page, the fifth forum, here, where we are talking to have missed it.

The dev tracker link is broken, all I get is search results for branflakes. BTW, the post announcing the delay is in the federation news network forum, incoming changed thread.

...Just sayin'
BranFlakes just posts the most...
If you scroll down to the TENTH POST (at the moment), you will find the information in question from Zero.
Or you could just post a thread here asking what's up, then some polite, knowledgeable poster who DOES check the dev tracker can inform you, then you can just respond with something along the lines of 'thanks!' and that be the end of it.
Wow this thread illustrates exactly what's wrong with population of this game. No wonder I see new thread after new thread of idiocy, turns out it that they do a bad job of keeping up on the game they play. This is also why the devs follow data points mined from the game rather than posters who just wine about the same topics continuously.

If you fill in the captcha, it will work for those who do not want to login.
Also, the importance of the dev tracker was denounced by the OP in the 5th post. The OP in his original post cited several things wrong with the game and then attempted to incite a discussion about how they weren't 'doing anything about it' Lesson here: Get your facts right with the tools at hand before you try to drum up TRIBBLE...

LOL.
Thank you fullleatherjacket had a good belly laugh over this.
It may have been worded slightly differently but I reckon the instruction is spot on.[/QUOTE]

SO WHAT DOES THE DEV TRACKER HAVE TO DO WITH NOT HAVING A PATCH TODAY.
****
I looked through the tracker found nothing about not having a patch today.
The concern here is many people have issues they want fixed now.
Ponding people for not looking at the DEV TRACKER is not helpful and outside the subject of the post.
What I think we all would like to see is a kind response like the example below....
Hey I looked through the DEV Tracker and found this DEV post that answered your post.

It popped up on yesterday that the patch was delayed by one day!
Hi, my name is: Elim Garak, Former Cardassian Oppressor
LTS, here since...when did this game launch again?

How can you be on the forums an not check the dev tracker? Its the only thing really worth checking. Everything else posted is usally PWE Scam, Lockbox, P2W, Battle Cloak, T5 Connie, Dis Not Trek nonsense.
And still no patch addressing the rest of the issues they said would be taken care of.
They patched last week and hoped that would "fix" what the people who were unhappy with and hoped it would make them play more again. I was a bit happy with last week, less happy this week since they've obviously blown off what they said they were gonna do.
Here's what I want Cryptic (And DStahl, since the buck stops with you according to your interview), I want you guys to TELL the community what your going to do, and then do exactly that.
We have chosen to delay the release of this update by one day, so it will go live on the 30th instead of the 29th. Our software gurus have resolved an issue that will allow us to turn private queues back on and we want an extra day to make sure we can get it up and running properly for everyone this weekend.

Yeah, that makes a WHOLE lotta sense.
:sigh:
(Oh, this is PVP, forum-style. My mistake.)

Can't imagine why I never pressed that button in the 3 months i've been here.
But thank you for pointing it out, I know it does something now.
