just make sure you are ready for cryptic to break something else with the patch. hrm... maybe we can have some kinda betting on what they'll break next.
They usually patch on Thursdays. They pushed last week's patch on a Wednesday because the Thursday of that week was a national U.S. holiday (Thanksgiving.)
I'd be surprised if we didn't see a patch announcement for tomorrow (Thurs. 11/29/12); late this afternoon/evening (PST, between 4 PM and 9 PM.)

What's up? No patch today, i'm shocked to be honest. All that needs to be fixed, and the promised coming fixes to the rep system, like unlocking our boxes, and of course getting private ques working again, lots of stuff left on the list to get goin by the end of the month as promised, and the end of the month is tomorrow, but no patch today? What gives
We have chosen to delay the release of this update by one day, so it will go live on the 30th instead of the 29th. Our software gurus have resolved an issue that will allow us to turn private queues back on and we want an extra day to make sure we can get it up and running properly for everyone this weekend.
I don't follow the dev tracker, and one shouldn't have to. The information should be more visible to people who visit the main page, and forums.
I have never seen them post anything obvious except for the day of the patch. And that is the offical thread for everything season 7 related. mAnd that was only posted yesterday ate around 5 so end of the work day and there fore last minute decision.

I think bringing back the calendar would solve the issue, put it back on the main page, and they should update it everyday to reflect when things will be released.
Information like this shouldn't be buried in a thread where players can spam.
I agree with the Op, this is the kind of thing that requires greater visibility given the large number of problems that need patching.
As a side note, given all the issues people are facing with the game at the moment, taking 30 seconds to make a single post about this delay would have been an easy way to regain some goodwill from the player base.

They did. It only takes a minute to skim through the posts in the dev tracker to see if there is anything useful. And like i said That was the official season 7 thread where they have been posting everything related to season 7 patching and changes.

dstahls update did actually say around the 29th. so whats the problem?
im not sure what adding the calendar back would have done to this situation as they never listed small patches anyway, and even if they did it would have been as a window rather than one set day.
checking the dev tracker is not hard. you might not feel you should have to, but if you want the information then looking in the place that keeps the information is usually a good idea.

LOL.
Thank you fullleatherjacket had a good belly laugh over this.
It may have been worded slightly differently but I reckon the instruction is spot on.

I would vote to bring back the calendar on the front page, so we can see when things are going to happen.

No I can't, that is why I asked.
Next poster from you linked the main forum splash page for me.
I've played other games where the Dev finder was an obvious button the lept out, not something that needed to be found.
