STF Event: Hive Onslaught - November 29th - 2 Timeslots (GMT & PST/EST)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Holodeck) STF event for this coming Thursday -- we'll be running "Hive Onslaught".

The first timeslot will be at 9pm GMT/ 1pm PST/ 4pm EST. (Click here to view in your timezone)

The second timeslot will be at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST/ 1am GMT. (Click here to view in your timezone)

Let's plan to meet on Deep Space Nine, on the second floor of the Promenade. From there, we'll queue up. Feel free to attend in whichever ship/ class you would like, on either faction (minimum level requirement is 45). Please join the REDALERT channel to see any communication/ instructions from myself. Type this command in your chat bar to join the channel: /channel_join REDALERT

Due to the STFs having some strategic elements to it, I am looking for players who feel that they could lead a group of 4 other players through the mission. If you are willing and able, please make a post below letting me know you would like to lead a group (including normal or elite) and what timeslot you are available for.

If you can't make it Thursday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (PvP, Events, Fleet Actions etc.).

Hope to see many of you Thursday!

P.S. My plan for the next event is to hold it on Saturday, the 8th of December. The festivities at Q's Winter Wonderland should be in full swing by then, so we'll have a holiday party there! :cool:

    If we have time aswell we could setup for the ground portion for the complete experience for those interested in running that one aswell. I will look forward to trying to complete at least one run (hopefully with optional(s)) on both the space and ground portions with who I end up teaming with come event time (both normal and elite if they are wanted).:D

    I've done the elite version a few times. I think I could pull the old Excelsior out and run a group, normal or elite, on the 2100 GMT slot. it would however be an experience to see how a dev does it :)

    Absolutely not! I'm not even sure added rewards would encourage me to try that thing again after what I saw during my one testing game.

    I like the idea with the holiday party though :D

    I could lead a group in a Hive Onslaught mission and i might save my Defiant R maiden run with her upgraded tactical systems should be interesting how she fares leading a group.

    This is like the 100th time...can you please change times and/or dates. There are things called "weekends" you know....for those who make a living to pay bills

    I run community events when I'm available to run them :) That typically means that they fall M-F. As I noted in my OP, for the next event, I am planning it for Saturday, December 8th.

    Which will be at the beginning of the Winter Event.

    When can we expect a thread about, what to expect for the holiday Winter Wunderland event? I am mainly looking forward to the details about the Winter Wunderland?

    The PST/EST timeslot of the event is coming up in just 1 hour! I hope you can make it, and see you on DS9 then.
