What is the best source for "Treknobabble?"

I have a couple foundry projects in mind and I know to flesh them out properly I am going to need to know some treknobabble y'know all the tech language used in the show. I don't know a particle wave from a tachyon. is there anywhere one can for example find what would distrupt a scan for lifesigns on a planet or what would cause a ship to enter a temporal rift etc??? I would like to get this stuff right but cant be bothered filling my head with this kind of trivia.

    The best thing to do, is to punch in the words you do know.. for example, if you want some kind of time travel.. punch in time travel. You'll see all the various situations in which people or ships went forwards or backwards in time. Just follow links from there. You'll usually get all the words you need from the articles.

    Punching in "time Travel" finds an article on "Temporal Mechanics" with a list of many known time travel events, and a link to "list of time travel episodes".. you can go there and find individual plot synopsis for each time that time travel occurred. Next to "Yesterday's Enterprise" is a link that says "type: Temporal Rift".
    In 2344, the USS Enterprise -C drifted through a symmetrical temporal rift, which itself was formed through the intense energy discharges of weapons fire as the ship defended the Klingon outpost at Narendra III from a Romulan attack

    ...

    Sensor readings taken by the Enterprise-D indicated that the temporal rift was the formation of a Kerr loop from superstring material.

    You know how they used to write TNG scripts (i've heard) is that the main writer would just have the word [tech] in there wherever he needed technobabble, then hand it over to their technobabble experts to fill in the blanks.

    For example:

    LaForge: Captain, we have a problem, the [tech] is [tech]. But I think if we [tech] the [tech] we can get out of this.
    Picard: Very well, Mr. LaForge, [tech] the [tech].
    LaForge: Captain, the [tech] didn't work, but if we reverse the [tech], then we can [tech].
    Picard: Reverse the [tech], Mr. LaForge.

    You could always do that. Just stick in [tech] where you need help and post the whole dialogue here, we can help fill in the blanks. Just be prepared for a certain amount of silliness.

    This is why the TNG technical manual got written.
