opening reinforcement pack after promotion ends

So what happens if you open a reinforcement pack after the promo ends. Would you still have a chance to score a bug ship? or chances goes away as soon as the promo ends?
Grinding for MkIV epic gear?

    Yes, they did the same thing with the gamma quad packs. they will still drop whatever they would have before, but no bug after the promo ended (in the specific case of the reinforcement packs, unless we are told otherwise I will assume the Tuffli will still drop from them as they always have).
