Thanks for reintroducing dil to the STFs, it means I now can stick around and play the content I like *most* of the time. However, in order to participate in the Romulan reputation system I have to do some of these grindy things, like the Tau Dewa Daily etc. Unfortunately after having tried all of them they're just too simple and repetitive to hold my interest after one or two repeats. But rather than just be totally negative I'm hoping things can be improved.
So, to the point... The Vault Ensnared looks like it has some potential but with spending 80% of the time flying in a straight line at full impulse to reach the next target it gets boring fast. Here's a suggestion that might help for this one mission.
Speed power-ups of some form or other, possibly ejected from the ships you kill (expire really fast) or some system of gates like those used in one of the story missions (where you speed up fast enough to go back in time). I'm sure there's plenty of other options you could come up with but the base idea is that with some *skill* and reasonably fast reactions you could boost your speed significantly, enough to make zooming between the Tholian weavers less boring.
Hopefully you're open to improvements in general, even if you don't consider this one any good. We're forced to do these missions to get the captain passives released in this reputation system (and the ones to come in future releases) and it'd be so much better if there were elements of skill attached to them so they were, you know, fun? I'm sure with some player feedback and some willingness on your part to adapt we can turn these dull missions into proper enjoyable content.
If anyone's come up with possible ways to turn Azure Nebula or indeed any of the "zone in, shoot, leave" Tau Dewa missions into something more interesting please please post it up for the Devs to see and consider. I personally have no ideas at all how the "run around, press F, sometimes shoot" ground missions on New Romulus can be improved without a wholesale rewrite but maybe someone does.
Let's hope improvements can be made, because unless people are happy to fall behind in their character progression over the coming months and years we're all going to be doing this stuff on a daily basis, like it or not. And personally I'd prefer to be enjoying my time spent in the game.

Not true, like it or not people will leave find other games. Lose interest and not log back in. New people will try the the game see the grind and leave.

That may be true, I should have qualified as "those people who stick around...". Yes we all have the option of leaving and going elsewhere but *if* the content was more enjoyable then surely less people would choose to do so. Better for us, better for them.
Everything involves Flying to the next target Unless you count stf's cause then that is fly to next target then come to full stop to blast the object that doesnt move.
Stf's are just a mind numbing as the rest. The game needs actual content. Dungeons to crawl. And actual end game enemies.

Their definition of content is just adding something new that leeches the wallet. What is this mythical story content people speak of?:P
-Rule of Acquisition #113: Always have sex with the boss.
-I am one of the many victims from the hijacked Caspian Division.
I will not let the childish acts of a criminal ruin this game for me.
-The actions of Cryptic, on the other hand......
But in this particular mission it's just excessive. Btw I'm 100% in agreement we need better, more interesting, complicated and challenging content but anything that makes these current missions less dreary would be appreciated by me at least.
