Cannot Activate Environmental Suit

I keep trying to activate the Environmental suit, but it will not take.

I get the message

SAFETY PROTOCOLS ENABLED: Transport Requires Active Environmental Suit

When trying to transport.

Am I missing a piece of the suit or something?

    I also am getting the message that ""transport requires active environmental suit," but I have taken it off and put it on several times, still get the same message. I know there are different kinds of EV Suits, are some not suitable for Nukara Prime??

    If anyone else has found the answer to being able to start the Nukara Prime job, I'd like to know how to activate the suit -- seems to me just putting the dang thing on ought to be enough ...


    OK - later - so I found out how to activate the EV suit (in case there are others who miss this too...). In the 'Big Personal Tray' at the bottom of the screen (where you can personalize/organize your fighting options and quick buttons), a new mini-row appears with the EV suit in it, and there you can click on it which 'activates' the suit. Otherwise you're just wearing the suit, and can't use the transporter, and if you walk off the platform you catch fire in less than a minute. Oy. Apparently it's not enough to just put the suit on, you have to turn it on too. :-\

    It's easier if you turn off visuals for your armor.

    A second way to tell is to look at your headlight: It goes on if your suit is activated, and if you have sound on you will start wheezing like Vader.

    It's recommended you play the Cardassian Front mission: Boldly They Rode. You get a mini-tutorial on environment suit usage.

    I have the problem that I can click the icon to activate the armor numerous times and it still takes many attempts before the armor actually activates. Sometimes it can take a couple of minutes of clicking before it activates.

    I spent about 10 minutes of constant burning and re-spawning until I found your solution. So Thank You

    I don't care what anyone says. That enviro suit interface has always been wonky. Takes me at least 2-3 attempts every time.
    Does Arc install a root kit? Ask a Dev today!
