Borg invasion at our fleet starbase last night?!

Fleets of cubes inbound! Great event, thanks for adding them in there Dev's. Was nice to see another race other then the same old ones attacking our Base. Shot a video of the event to share with the rest of the community. Hope you enjoy:

    Thanks for sharing this, it was definitely interesting to see. I'm wondering, if the Borg are starting to appear already, what we'll come across when we have T5 starbases...

    Glad you guys enjoyed it =) As far as rewards, we got about 2,000 Fleet marks if you count in fleet mark bonus pool tokens. Plus it was a lot of fun. We have made several videos that can be found on our site including other races such as Tholian and Nausicaan if you would like to check those out aswell.

    Hey, I finally made it on one of our fleet videos! I agree, borg swarm was the best time I've had in the starbase defence fleet action.

    Be a while before we can face the borg in a starbase event as we have onyl just hit T2 on my fleet

    nice vid man..

    our fleet "Task Force Spectre" runs the twenty man event 2 or 3 times a day sometimes (with all fleeties as we are lucky to have a very active fleet) and we have encountered the borg a few times in it. it is fun and kinda overwhelming. but the kick in the pants is the tholians. that is a difficult encounter in the 20 man..

    Having an entire fleet of cubes attacking a base should be instant death, but instead they've weakened the cubes down to the same level as player ships. Its ridiculous. A sphere being equal to a player ship would make sense, but there should only be 1 uber cube that appears at the end of that scenario.

    they are still touph, but yeah, they did knock them down a peg or two.. for example. the cubes do not have the borg torpedo..

    however, tholians are insane.. they knock your power out left and right, webs everywhere pretty much constantly. they are probably the hardest challenge our fleet has had in the 20 man t4. they are the only race we have trouble keeping the starbase alive on the first attack on it...

    Even a Fleet of Cubes cant destroy one Starbase, there such wimps in this game.

    I do think also that the tholian encounter is probably the most challanging overall so far. Getting behind those webs is a must. We did a Tholian Video last week if you would like to check that out.

    Nice vid :D If borg come out at only T4 Starbase what will T5 bring? my guess is species 8472 or a fleet of Ferengi!

    Tier 5 will bring Undine most likely. I know this because I looked at the accolade for killing all the named ships for Fleet Alert, and it has all the species you can encounter, the last ones being the Undine.
