The STF reward tables were updated for this push and they contain all the omega marks and elite marks you should get. When they were updated the dilithium was inadvertently removed as a flat reward. They will be back in a release next week.

You can earn dilithium just from the run, as well as from turning in elite marks if you so choose.

What about the Romulan Featured series rewards. Just did frozen and got no Romulan Marks??

Updated Commander Roxy on DS9 to remove outdated information about STF rewards and add information about the Reputation system.

Admiral D'Vak could also use a pass, as he is still referring to Elite STFs being unlocked at level 51

when i think of "personal reputation" i think of pvp. yet there is ABSOLUTLY no way to earn ANY type of personal reputation through pvp?

why the hate? its bad enough we cant earn fleet marks through pvp (dispite pvp being a place where a full 5 man premade is better then going alone) which still doesnt make sense either.... oh i notice you added more ways to earn marks through pve but not pvp...

[*]There are all new rewards throughout the Embassy progression that are complimentary to the Starbase Fleet Rewards.

Does that mean that I will be able to get a Fleet "type" Disruptor Pulswave "shotgun" as a Fed ?

Well, with all of these new Dilithium sinks coming out it's good to know that you will be ignoring your useless game economists and at least tripling or quadrupling all Dilithium rewards, right?

I mean you guys wouldn't want to make this game even more of a grind do to the need for Dilithium in Starbase missions, Doff missions, The new reputation system, buying gear from the Starbases or the reputation system, and the new and unimproved Dilithium requirement for doff farming.

Instead of a season with new sinks I would almost prefer that all of the STO team were reassigned to bug squashing and maybe doing what it takes to take off that beta tag from the DirectX 11 option.

To some I may be just some faceless ungrateful player, but am I so unreasonable in saying that I would like the opportunity to run Terradome without wanting to tear my hair out or having Crystalline Entity reinstated? Maybe even getting NPC pathing issues resolved or going into a genesis planet where the NPCs I am supposed to kill were teleported in to a rock?

I do appreciate the work you guys do and the fact that this game still exists despite the bumps it has encountered, but the problem is if you keep trying to build additions on a structure that lacks a proper foundation all that will happen is its eventual collapse.

Question: Will there be a way to respec/retrait those new reputation choices?

Some of those choices look quiete powerfull when it comes to ground combat.. like the 20% chance on a knockback on a crit or a 50% chance on a shield heal on taking a crit.. picking the wrong stuff could make some toon perform badly compared to others in pvp.. so having a way to change choices would make sense.

Question2: Does that 20% knockback on crit from romulan tier3 trigger a push back resistance of some kind?

In a game were we can reach 28% crit chance (before weapon modifiers and consumables even!) (gambler, lucky, strike, optics, omega armor,romulantier1) i could see a 20% chance on a knockback on every crit to be quiete the issue in team pvp if one team sets up for that, i hope theres some immunity buff in place on the victim!

Question3: Since some character trait choices get more and more useless now.. i.e. why pick a crit trait if you can get to 25% without it when theres more powerfull options that you cant get any other way.. when do we get a general retrait option (i.e. in the cstore) ?

Any chance the the in-game mailbox will be fixed? If you have a ton of mail it bogs down the client.

I personally do not like that the Reputation system is another "Fleet" system, only Solo. But that's just me.

I also HATE that you can not earn reputation/fleet marks via PVP. But I've made that statement before in other areas.
You think that your beta test was bad?

Other than the Queue based content I'm not seeing anything actually rewarding Marks in-game.

Defera is rewarding Fleet Marks other options that normally reward no Fleet Marks are still not rewarding ANY marks.

Just ran a normal STF to get some Omega Marks and it went swimmingly and awarded a nice amount of marks, and since I read the patch notes I was expecting the lack of dilithium. On the other hand the lack of a personal loot bag at the end of the match was an unpleasant surprise. Did the same bug/error/whatever that killed the dilithium rewards also kill the loot bags or will they no longer be dropping at all?

They don't drop anymore. After all, the real loot in there was the EDCs and occasional salvage/tech, with nothing more than a bad weapon as a side dish. You're better off without them.

Unless you mean to say you actually used some of that gear/made money on it?

A token amount of elite marks are required for Mk 12 set gear.

I really hope that by 'token amount', you don't mean your usual 'grind for 40'... With all of these different systems, all requiring different currencies, there simply aren't enough hours in the week to grind them all.

Don't get me wrong, the patch notes sound good and I am excited and very much looking forward to season 7, like I have every season before. I just worry that sometimes what could be great, gets let down by becoming a grind.

    Edit:

Just had a look at the system and my god, I was right, more grind. Not only more grind, but another thing that wants Dilithium on top of the other marks. Perhaps now would be a good time to revise your 8,000 a day limit considering between fleet starbases, now embassies too, plus Romulan and Omega Reputation projects... 8,000 a day gets you no where.

I love this game, have since the beta even though most of my friends have stopped playing because of it turning into a grind machine, but seriously can you stop making every exciting new thing a total nightmare to get anywhere with!

    [...]
    • Reputation Specific Marks
      • Reputation Specific Marks are earned by playing any of the missions that are themed and designated mark missions.
        • Omega Marks are used in the Omega Reputation Track.
          • The following content provides Omega Marks:
            • Defera Invasion
    [...]

It doesn't look like defera missions already give omega marks on tribble.

It will be 5 Elite marks per Mk12 Maco/Omega/KHG item. This was confirmed to be by Borticus, but as they always say, could be subject to change..

The tholian ships are knocking weapons offline but the redmatter battery is not restoring them. Only a weapon battery will put them back online. Fun to run tino a group of 5+ ships and have your weapons be offline for 20-30 seconds. It even takes out torps and mines, even though they don't use any weapon power.

Did not see it mentioned but the chat now changes your default channel to the last channel you did a / command for. Type "/team hey all" and your default chat gets set to team. Type "/zone hello?" and your default chat gets set to /zone. Its a bit annoying and I'm sure it will lead to a LOT of mistells. Took me a couple of minutes before I realized why it was changing and starting doing some tests.

A few Questions: What happens to the old STF stuff(like EDC Salvage Tech) there is now no way to redeem this even into dilithium it also cant be uses in the Rep System.

A Stf on Elite with optional gives 20 Marks+ 1 Elite Mark.

A Stf on Normal with optional gives 15 Marks.

Didnt the notes say the Elite amount is 3 Times larger?

Some of the changes I've seen on Tribble so far are good:
    - Making the assimilated Set a 3 part set is good - no more almost unkillable ships with 3 part assimilated bonus and MACO-/KHG-Shield,
    - New STF-gear with more set bonuses (assimilated console + cutting beam and plasma torpedoes will be nice), but did you think about the total boost it would grant you? +15 Weapon Power turns a Cruiser almost into an Escort! If you redirect all that weapon-power that you don't need, is the Escort then the upcoming shield tank?

Other changes (the reputation system) won't be so good:
    - Did you think about the mission "Join Taskforce Omega"? Will it grant you all the Omega-Marks you need to get the first item from the new STF-Store?!? I can almost see people using standard issue Phaser Stun Pistols in their first STF-runs... Or will you be forced to farm Defera until you've reached Tier 1 in the Omega-Reputation? That would lead to people using melee-weapons in STFs, since nobody reads the comments Captain Kazima makes on remodulation.
    - More Dilithium needed to get good gear. It's not just Dilithium, it's also time, since you first need to unlock the corresponding Reputation Tier to get a weapon or anything else from the current STF-Store (Omega Pavillion on DS9).
    - What is about the "lost STF" - "Terradome"? It's not Borg-Stuff, but STFs were never supposed to be only Borg-Stuff... Remastering (and Bug-fixing) it would give us one more way to earn Omega-Marks and Dilithium (I don't say ore, give us refined Dilithium for this!).
    - What is about recruiting DOFFs? We need a lot of DOFFs to contribute to Fleet-Projects at the moment, when we need to contribute DOFFs to the Romulans, we will need another way to recruit more. Or do you expect us to use Fleet-DOFFs on the new Reputation-System?
A few Questions: What happens to the old STF stuff(like EDC Salvage Tech) there is now no way to redeem this even into dilithium it also cant be uses in the Rep System.

A Stf on Elite with optional gives 20 Marks+ 1 Elite Mark.

A Stf on Normal with optional gives 15 Marks.

Didnt the notes say the Elite amount is 3 Times larger?

If the Elite-Mark is worth 25 Omega-Marks, then it is correct...
