Ok Ok whos the fresh water loving developer;)

Beta's really lol They don?t get along with anything! Unless these are new enlightened Betas like the humans of that time that gets along with everyone;) Also did I see a Silver barb? If so that beta wont have a fin for long... Why not Salt?? My kids love a nice Nemo "clown Fish" to look at. Maybe a few Royal Gramma Basslet and a Yellow Tang. Before you say Picard?s Lion... Remember they can't be mixed with much since.. well everything else that can fit in its mouth is lunch.

So again who is the fresh water developer? ;)

    It's "Betta", not to be confused with the cassette media or software under development and testing. :P

    Now I gotta see this starbase aquarium...

    Those are actually Gamma fish. They look just like Bettas, but without the feisty attitudes. Ironically they come from the Delta Quadrant. . .

    Correct. You can tell a Gamma Fish from a Betta Fish because of the tiny little forehead ridges.

    There's a breed of long finned females coming out of some of the importers the last couple years that make brilliant semiaggressive community fish. Rumor is they're a Betta spendens/Betta mahachai hybrid similar to dragon bettas, but they were bred with veil tail splendens instead of a plakats the way dragons were.


    Sorry, huge fish nerd. Also a huge nitpicker: Bettas get along with lots of fish. Only the males fight to the death, and only against other Bettas (most other species in the genus won't fight back, but Betta splendens will hound them to death anyway). They're aggressive with other anabantoids, but in most communities, a male Betta is a victim, not an aggressor. Tetras will shred their fins, and male livebearers sometimes think they're a female and won't leave them alone. There are some hyperaggressive fighters left, but their tendency to drown their mates has helped the breeders get the worst aggression out of the captive strains.

    Been a bunch of Hybrids over the years. Still if the KDF had a cute fish.. It would be a Betta

    Just 2 things:

    Please make the fish tank available to aquatic species and vulcans wanting to mind meld with the fishes.

    Please include scorpion fish, lion fish, miniatures of George and Gracie (the whales, not the Vaudeville act), in the aquarium.
