Community Tribble Event: "Mine Trap" - October 17th - 2 Timeslots (BST and PDT/EDT)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Tribble) Community "Mine Trap" Event for this coming Wednesday. This event will be held on the Tribble test server, so please make sure you have patched up and transfered a level 50 character over to it before the event begins. To sign up for Tribble, sign into the STO website, and visit this link: http://sto.perfectworld.com/community/tribble-test. More info about "Mine Trap" can be found here.

The first timeslot will be at 8pm BST/ noon PDT/ 3pm EDT. (Click here to view in your timezone)

The second timeslot will be at 5pm PDT/ 8pm EDT/ 1am BST. (Click here to view in your timezone)

Let's plan to meet on Bajor, near the fountain. From there, we'll queue up for "Mine Trap". Feel free to attend with a character on either faction. We'll try and do 2 runs within the hour. Please join the TTS channel to see any communication/ instructions from myself. You can join TTS by typing this command into your chat bar: /channel_join TTS

If you can't make it Wednesday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (STFs, PvP, Events etc.).

    Ok, but when will we be told what we need to do to earn the Tribble Test rewards?

    A day or so before the Test Weekend, just like we did with Season 6 :)

    These are Thursday 6am and 11am GMT+10 (Sydney, Australia) so I will be at the first and should be able to attend the second run aswell before I head off to my afternoon class :)

    Sounds good, I'll try and make it to one or the other if not both. :)

    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    The BST timeslot of the event is coming up in just an hour and 30 minutes. Make sure you've got Tribble patched up and a character transfered over (info in the OP). See you on Bajor then!

    any possibilty of running this after 6PM (PST) or on Mondays? I dont get off work till 4:30 and it takes an hour for me to get home. Are weekends a possibility?

    Was a nice map, good to see new yet familiar enemies!!

    Enjoyed the mini-missions, felt there could have been a boss fight at the end to make things fun with 20 players about.

    Overall felt it was a good ground map, enemies were a bit on the easy side but didn't spoil the flow and I was too busy concentrating on saving stuff to notice if there were any pointers on directional beacons ect.


    Well worth a play :)

    Found a minor bug. At the LZ in the South West there was a Civilian left over at the end of the match:

    I liked the mission for the most part. Not too happy that its basically a zombie fight, but the evac stuff was fantastic. I loved the smoke at the LZs; I was half expecting to see some Hueys come flying over the hills.
    My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug. :D

    Please forgive my naivete, but what are we testing, exactly?

    (...actually active since November 2010, which may one day be important to archaeologists, but not to anyone else...)
