Where do I go from here ?

Sorry to interrupt the 57 1000-day veteran reward threads :P

Anyway short story long, I am wearing the clothes I want and I fly the ship I wanted where do I go from here any suggestions would be welcome.

Grind out 100 million for the possibility of a future ship coming out I'd like, create a new character, start pvp, do crafting ?

Crafting shall be super expensive as all mid-to-upper tier items have a large Dilithium Price tag attached to.

PvP is practically non-existant. It was going to get an overhaul, but that idea fell through. You can try what is there but if you are new, they shall hand you your tushy with a nice, pretty ribbon, and shiny bow attached to it. It will like your birthday.

Playing another character could be nice. Have you considered playing one from the opposite Faction? There would be missions that you have not yet gotten to play over there.

If it's dilth, resources, contraband and Ec you want - you definitely need to roll a KDF toon and get doffing over there!!

If you've got everything you want and are just looking for fun then there is nothing better than the foundry. But if you still want to keep earning up your dil/zen for the future, I'd recommend doing your standard set(s) of dailies and add 1 foundry mission per day.

I've always found that playing a different game helps a whole lot when I get bored with a game or find that there's nothing interesting left to do in it.

Just played ep 4 of the walking dead, that was a blast! I've also got dishonored on the way and am having some fun with retro city rampage.

This is ultimately the problem of gear treadmills; you spend the game trying to get the things you want, and once you have them, the game is--for all intents and purposes--over. How nice it would be to play through the game's content in the ship and uniform of your choice from the beginning.

To be honest? If I'd just hit the cap, I'd leave STFs alone until season 6. We already know the reward structure is getting revamped into the reputation system instead of the clunky currency system we have now. It's not clear if time would be more effectively spent now or then, but I'm of the opinion that I'd rather have a new progression system than deal with getting STF stuff the current way, even if the new way manages to be slower.

In the meantime, there are still some progression systems in.

Where are you on the doff system? There's a lot of depth in it, and some interesting side projects - you can establish colonies in each exploration sector, create a human psionic super soldier for Section 31, and just generally fill up some bars. There were honestly a few months where all I really did was doffing.

As for crafting... It's cheap to level if you stick to odd-mark gear, but the only really unique reward from that is the Aegis set, which can be traded. It's still some progression if you're interested, and it's possible some time in the future work you put in now will be applicable to a more useful system.

There's also enough good foundry missions to keep going for months if you want more direct involvement.

I don't know, what do you WANT to do? For myself, I made three Fed characters - one for each career - and then I rolled a KDF character. I'll probably roll at least another KDF, more than likely two, and another Fed - I have three character slots open so I want to fill those out eventually.

I do dailies mostly, grind out for the dilithium, trade it in for zen, etc. But I still have a ton of story content to get through. So I'm pacing myself for the long haul. Crafting's a bit meh to be honest, it's in sore need for an overhaul. That said, you could just do the Doff assignment 'Children's Toys' if you want to craft high-end consoles. The chance of getting something *you* want is pretty low, but you can sell what you make on the exchange.

You could consider making a solo starbase. You know, if you enjoy pain.
